i just realized i never specified last chapter was from awsten's pov and that's gonna bother me but wattpad's stupid formatting thingy takes all the comments off the lines they originated from when you edit a page so i can't edit it 🙃

"Abby, come on," Kellen said softly from the other side of the door, "he doesn't hate you or anything."

I sighed and opened the door, not caring about my appearance. I obviously looked bad because he frowned and pulled me into a hug.

"Awsten's just being an idiot. He'll figure it out."

"I've talked to him about how Lucas was," I said, frowning, "he know's I'm still fucked up. Yeah, I'm trying, but still. Then he tells me that. What am I supposed to do with that? What did he expect?"

"He didn't expect whatever happened, that's for damn sure."

"How do you know?"

He let me go from the hug.

"Well, after you just walked away, I stayed to grab your bags and, I'm sorry to say this and make you feel bad, but he looked devastated."

I looked at Kellen, slightly scared to ask my question.

"Wait. You didn't.. tell him.."

He hesitated.

"It was the only thing to get my point across-"

"So you told him," I said, trying not to sound pissed, "I told you and Maggie that. That's all. I didn't even tell Elijah. And you told him."

He looked at me, obviously ready to defend himself.

"Abby, dude, he was upset with what just happened. He fucked up and I wasn't just gonna tell him he's stupid and leave, I had to give him some brain food-"

"So you told him my personal feelings before I was ready to tell him?" I said, getting angrier.

"You told them to me!"

"You aren't him!"

Kellen went silent and I grabbed my keys.

"I'm going to visit Sam and Elijah. I don't know when I'll be back."

"Abby-"

I shut the door, walking out to my car. I looked at myself in the mirror, frowning. I smoothened out my hair and put my water bottle on my face to cool it down. It took about 20 minutes to get to Elijah's house, which bummed me out when I actually got there. I stepped out of my car but heard a familiar voice through the open window.

I saw Awsten, smiling and laughing like nothing happened. I decided to just suck it up and head to Maggie's boyfriend's house. I pulled into Casey's driveway and parked, walking over and knocking on the door.

"Hey," Maggie said excitedly, hugging me before pulling me into the house, "what brings you here?"

I debated on telling her why I was actually here, but she was in such a good mood and I didn't wanna do that to her. I forced a smile.

"Just wanted to visit you. Kellen was being a bully so I left."

"I thought you were staying with that Awsten dude?" Casey questioned.

"Oh, well, he was busy so I left to stay with Kellen when he got back. I was actually wondering if I could crash with you guys for a couple days."

"Uh," Maggie looked back at her boyfriend, "sure I guess. Is everything okay?"
