It seemed so long ago since life used to be "normal" before vigilantes went around saving the city. Before then things seemed to be perfect.

Laurel and Sara Lance were both vigilantes roaming the city, Laurel was the black canary and Sara was the white canary and captain of a time ship.

But let's take a deeper look into there life before vigilantes happened.

"Sara what are you doing" Laurel asked walking into the living room.
"Nothing" Sara replied trying to hide something.
"Oh my gosh! Did you get a boyfriend?" She asked hoping it was.

"No of course not you know I prefer girls" she said with a smile.

But really she had been talking to Oliver.
Oliver Queen was a million dollar playboy he was a cute and sweet kind of boy but Sara wasn't the only one in love with him.
Laurel had been in love with him for quite sometime but Sara had no idea.

"Fine don't tell me but at least tell me if you found someone" Laurel begged.

"If I told you you'd probably kill me" Sara said jokingly.
"Really Sara? as your older sister I'm more afraid of you then anyone just lay it on me" Laurel said smiling back.

"I've been talking to Oliver" Sara said feeling afraid.
Laurels mouth dropped,she froze and she turned and sternly looked into her eyes as if she hated her more then anyone in her whole life.

"How? How could you? You knew I was seeing him Sara why?" Laurel said beginning to cry.
"I'm sorry I said to much" Sara said holding Laurels arm.
"Your damn right you did" she took her things and left her apartment slamming the door.

Later Laurel decided to head to Oliver's.
"Well hi there ms.Lance what brings you here?"
Moira Queen who was Oliver's mother asked.

"I need to see Ollie"

Oliver came rushing from down the stairs and smiled as he saw Laurel standing there.

"Hey Laurel" Oliver said
"I need to talk to you in private" she said
They both headed upstairs Laurel slammed herself on the bed looking really pissed off.

"What's wrong Laurel?" He asked feeling worried.
"I think you know"
"Know what?"
"Sara"
Yep that look that Oliver gave Laurel she knew that he knew something.

"What are you talking about?" He asked
"Stop Oliver just stop you know exactly what you have been doing going behind my back and screwing my sister while I kept thinking you loved me but I guess I'm just an idiot how could I fall for someone so hurtful"
Laurel said yelling into his face.

"Laurel it's not what it-"
"It's exactly what it looks like you cheated on me because you rather have my sister then me and Oliver I really loved you I really did" she interrupted.

"I have to go"
"No, wait Laurel" he said as she slammed the door on his face.

It was a only a week until Robert and Oliver Queen would go on the queens gambit little did Laurel know he wouldn't be coming back for a long time,

She was just so upset, She felt stupid why would oliver the love of her life do something like this?
Oliver was having a party at his house inviting everyone he knew including Laurel but she ignored him, Sara on the other hand however didn't.

Sara ran upstairs to her bedroom and got ready to go putting on a long black dress, with black shiny high heels and her hair straightened.

"Where are you headed of looking like that?"
Laurel asked staring at her sister who honestly looked like she was trying to hard to get someone.
"A party at Oliver's" Sara said. Walking out of her room almost falling because she never actually knew how to walk in high heels.
Laurel knew her sister wasn't allowed to go out especially late at night.
"Sara didn't our father say we have a curfew? I suggest you get home at a reasonable time like before he comes home?"

Sara just smiled as she walked downstairs "sure Laurel I'll be home" she finished as she walked out the door.

Quentin soon arrived home it was seven o clock and Laurel was upstairs. "Sara,Laurel? Are you guys home?" He yelled from downstairs.

"Hey dad!" Laurel said giving him a hug. "Where is Sara?" He asked "actually it's good your home because Sara snuck off to a party at Oliver's I told her not to go but you know her dad she never listens she's very irresponsible" Laurel said.

And just as they were talking about her Sara came walking through the front door. She was a mess her hair was dirty and it looked like she had been outside for days.

"Young Lady!!" Quentin yelled at his daughter "how dare you sneak off to a party to screw Oliver" he yelled with force in his voice. "I wasn't screwing Oliver he invited me to a party at his house" Sara explained.

"Dad, Oliver is my boyfriend she had been screwing his for days on end and I just found out today she's lying I can tell" Laurel said with a smirk.
"I didn't as honest!" She yelled at him.
"Don't raise your voice at me!" He yelled back.
"Well I'm sorry"
"It's not good enough sister" Laurel joined in.

"That's it you are grounded that means no party's, no Oliver and absolutely no leaving this house do you understand?" Quentin yelled at her.

"You can't do that I'm not some five-year-old little girl anymore" Sara demand looking at Laurel also.

"Father I think she needs to be punished grounding will teach her some good" Laurel said smiling.

Sara ran upstairs dropping her bags and throwing her heels off landing herself on her bed.
She was so pissed off at Laurel that she was about ready to fist fight her, but clearly that would do nothing. And she was already in enough trouble as it was.

"Laurel come here please" Quentin asked sitting on the couch watching television and drinking.
"Yes dad?" she replied.
"You need to keep a watchful eye of your younger sister or I'll have to ground you next you hear me?" Quentin said looking at his daughter sternly.

"Yes father I understand" Laurel said picking up the broken glass of beer Quentin had throw at Sara for disobeying him. It almost hit Sara but only leaving a cut on her right arm.

But as you can see they didn't have happy pasts and Quentin the girls father was not the best man...
