It's like when Laurel had died and Oliver felt so much pain and heartache and it just came back to haunt him all over again. The life Sara had given her when she raised her was something she won't ever forget.
She was small but quick on her feet, she was honest and loving, she was everything Oliver had ever imagined in a daughter. But he never would be able to understand how Laurel would murder her own daughter. It seems Laurel could have been jealous because Clary didn't want to be with her she trusted Sara more then anyone in her life.

Oliver looked miserable. His eyes were all dark like he hadn't slept in days, and he was completely.. depressed.
"I've been better Thea" Oliver replied.
It was hard for Oliver when he lost a best friend but it was even harder when he lost a child.
