RWBY theories

The end of an Era

It is with a heavy heart that I must announce that I will no longer be doing theories for RWBY due to the actions of Rooster Teeth. In order to gain a better understanding for why this is the case I will begin by outlining the morals that I have issues with that and why I can no longer in good conscious continue to do theories for the show that I have loved for so long.

1. The treatment of various Voice Actors based upon allegations. 

This is most notable with the treatment of Vic Mignogna over allegations of sexual misconduct and while I understand why the had to distance themselves from controversy that was surrounding Vic over the false allegations which have been proven to be false based upon the actions of two individuals who have everything to gain from Vic's eviction from the business of VA and should have the exact thing happen to them that they forced upon a man who from the evidence presented is nothing but a nice individual. 

2. The firing of individuals based upon political leanings. 

This is notable with a co-founder of RT of Joel Hayman who they had according to them man used him to create PSAs for his use of Caboose from Red Vs Blue before firing the man. Joel Hayman is notable in the fact that he is Anti-BLM at least in condemning some of their actions and he comes out later in a twitter thread that he is no longer a part of RT.

3. The blatant hypocrisy over Fair Use.

Recently a news story over threatening legal action against an individual youtuber over fair use when it comes to the characters of RWBY while having no problem profiting over a series which anyone who knows about gaming understands in Halo and Red Vs Blue. 

It is for the reasons that I will no longer be making RWBY theories unless it comes to light that the third point is not actually RT or just the actions of one employee as this is the point that caused me to hit my breaking point over making theories with RWBY. I will still be writing RWBY fanfiction as a last screw you to RT as writing fiction is fair use as I used to write to transform a world that I loved and bring some enjoyment to other people who love RWBY.
