Chapter 12-Feelings!

Nino's Pov:-

"Yo, Naho!" I greeted as she picked up the call.

It's been a week ever since that day.

"Kazu!" came her voice.

"Genki ka (Are you okay)?" I asked.

"Hmm..." came her silent answer which means she is not okay. "Kazu wa (How about Kazu)?" she asked.

"I'm okay. Naho?"

"Un?"

"I'm sorry...for whatever happened that day. I just..."

"Don't be sorry, Kazu. It was not your fault." she interrupted.

"No, it is! Naho, I'm really sorry that I was not able to realize your feelings. But I'll support you and Kanata-kun."

She didn't say even a word.

"Naho?"

"Hm?"

"What's wrong?"

"Nothing. I was just thinking what to answer Ryusei." She replied coldly.

"I see. Honestly tell him what you feel." I answered her.

"You're right."

"Na Naho?"

"Hm?"

"Let's meet soon again!" I said.

"Un, let's go out soon!" I felt that she was smiling.

I smiled widely, "Good Night, Naho!"

"Good Night, Kazu!" came her sweet voice before we hung up.

I sighed. I don't feel that Naho is feeling good. I looked at the book lying beside me on the bed. I picked it up and opened the page where I left the bookmark. I haven't read it completely yet. I want to know Naho's feelings from where I left. I wanted to know the Naho she was when I was not with her. She had written about me in this book. She did not use my name instead used Kento as an alias. But anyways, almost all the moments we spent were included too. It made me so happy. How much I mean to her! I may not deserve her so I'm just gonna protect her at any cost.

I turned to the next page. She had written how her best friend betrayed her. This may not be from her real life because nothing was related to Ryusei although she had written about her feelings for him. She had used Ryo as the alias for Ryusei. She had also excluded the part of her Dad marrying another woman. But she had included her Mother's death and how it affected her. She wrote how people like her that is, introverts feel. Naho has a very good sense of words. The part of her Mother's death made me cry.

I kept on reading. Now I arrived at the part where I left Naho. But as I read what she had written, I didn't felt any sense of Kento's fault. The main character which is Naho's was aliased as Nana. From Nana's point of view, she never felt that Kento left her. She had written-

'He was gone, gone for now. I don't feel it's his fault. I don't think he left me on purpose. So, if he ever comes back to our place of memories, I'll hug him tightly and cry happily!'

My eyes became moist while reading that part. And no sooner, a few tear drops made their way out of my eyes. I clutched the book near my heart as more tears flowed out. Naho had done the same when we met at our place of memories. She had hugged me tightly and cried.

Naho! I sat up and kept the book on the table beside the bed, then took my jacket and left my room.

"Nino, where are you going at this time?" I heard Aiba-chan as I walked down the stairs.
