Sirius

I let out a sigh as I saw Sirius and James walk up to me. I had known them our second year, and they had slowly become good friends of mine.

"Hey (Y/n), what's your last name?" Sirius asked as he set beside me.

"(L/n), the same as it's always been." I said with a frown.

Sirius sent me a smile and got down on one knee and pulled out a small ring made of twigs.

"Maybe, you should change it, to Black." He said softly.

"I'm keeping my last name." I said as I turned and walked away.

James let out a laugh and fell to the ground. I rolled my eyes and continued to walk away.

Twenty years later

I let out a sigh as I started to cut up some carrots.

"Hey, baby." I said as I sent Sirius a smile.

"Hey, what's your last name again?" Sirius asked as he leaned against the counter.

I smiled softly and shook my head.

"(L/n), the same as it always has been." I said as I put the carrots in a bowl.

"You should change it." He said as he got down on one knee and pulled the ring he had made twenty years earlier.

I let out a laugh and quickly pulled him up and kissed him. He smiled against my lips and pulled me closer. I felt him slip the ring on and I smiled up at him.

"I love you, Sirius." I whispered against his lips.

"I love you too." He said before recapturing my lips with his.
