Spoiler for Fantastic Beasts

Theseus Scamander, my best friend and crush. I had know. Theseus since Hogwarts and our friendship soon escalated into me loving him. While I fell in love with him though he fell head over heels for Leta Lestrade. After they got engaged though I stopped speaking to him and went on with my life in the hopes of moving on.

"Morning Professor (L/n)!" My students yelled.

After Hogwarts I went on to becoming the Charms teacher.

"Morning everyone, how was break?" I asked as I walked to the front.

A few answered and I smiled as I started class. Halfway through my door opened and I saw Professor McGonagall walk in.

"Everything alright Professor?" I asked softly.

"Of course, just I need to talk to you in private." She said softly.

"I want you to practice wand movements, no casting the spell though." I said as I walked to the door.

We made it outside and I came face to face with her.

"Everything alright?"

"No..... Leta Lestrade was killed yesterday night.... Grindelwald." She said softly.

"Oh no.... is Theseus alright?" I asked softly.

"He asked for you to come by his office after work... he said he needed to talk to you." She said softly.

"Of course thank you."

I went back to class and after finishing up I left for the Ministry of Magic. I arrived and let out a sigh a I walked to Theseus' office. I knocked on the door and when I heard a quiet come in I opened the door. I walked inside to see Theseus looking through some notes.

"You came." He said as he looked at me shocked.

"I heard about Leta.... I'm so sorry." I said softly.

"It's fine.... we broke up before it happen." He said as he let it a sigh.

"Why? You two where so happy."

"Mind taking a seat?" He asked softly.

I nodded my head and set down in the seat in front of him. He sent me a small smile and let out a sigh.

"I realized I wasn't in love with her." He said softly.

"Oh.... so was it mutual?"

"She said that during the engagement she realized that she loved a man she could never fully be with... because she would never fully have my heart... and she was right." He said softly.

"What do you mean?"

"I wasn't in love with Leta... never was... when I think back to what I love about her... I realized that the things I loved... they reminded me of someone else." He said as he let out a sigh and stood up.

"Who was it?" I asked softly.

"A good friend..... a friend who would give her life for the students she teaches... a friend who when my brother was at his lowest she brought him back. A friend who I just realized... has been in love with me too." He said as he met my eye.

"Must be a good friend... you should tell her how you feel. She would be stupid not to love you." I said softly.

"I thought I just did." He said softly.

He walked up to me and stopped right in front of me. I looked up at him and our eyes met for a second before he crouched down and gently kissed me. I let out a sigh as I kissed him softly and wrapped my arms around his neck. He picked me up and gently put me on his desk.

"I love you (Y/n) (L/n)." He whispered against my lips.

"I love you too Theseus Scamander." I said as I kissed him quickly.
