(Shatter Me by Lindsey Stiring)

Hannei sighs as she sits in class, waiting for hero training. She wasn't at the very bottom like the poor boy whose name she caught to be named Midorya but she didn't place towards the top 10 like Kimi. She had her work cut out for her.

"You are Tsukikage, right? Ribbit." A voice asked from behind her as she turned around and saw a girl with long green hair and big eyes. She looked rather nice and smiled sweetly at her that Hannei couldn't help but smile back.

"That is correct. My name is Hannei Tsukikage but please, call me Hannei. You are Asui, correct? My apologies for not properly introducing myself yesterday." Hannei was formal as she stood up and bowed out of respect.

"Yes, I am Tsuyu Asui but please Tsu. Are you okay? You seem a little out of it." Tsu asked as Hannei forced yet another smile.

"I am okay Tsu, just something happened the other day." Hannei admitted without realizing it and cursed herself silently.

"Oh, I am so sorry, Hannei. Is there anything I can do to help you feel better?" Tsu asked with a gentle before she had put a soft hand on Hannei's shoulder, the same gesture Hitsohi did. The memories from the night before classes started came back.

"TOSHI?! You scared me! What is it? Why are we talking out here and not upstairs?" Hannei giggles as she looks at her boyfriend, ready to kiss his cheek before he pushes her down gently.

That is strange.

"I think we should break up." Hitoshi said in such a cold voice that it instantly shattered her heart.

"What do you mean we should break up?! What did I do wrong?" She begged as tears streamed down her face.

"Just let me go! Goodbye Tsukikage." He said as he walked away.

He never used her last name when talking to her, it had always been Nei, Kitty or Kitten. Yet, he walked into the light of the setting sun but Hannei was left in the shadows of the building of their apartment, crying as the shadows tried to comfort her.

"Hannei?" Tsu's and Kimi's voice had brought her back out of her thoughts and she shook her head. Not even Kimi knew of the events of why she and Hitoshi didn't walk to school that first day. She simply said she wanted to get there early.

"Sorry, I zoned out. Is there a problem?" Hannei forced a smile with her eyes shut to keep from crying.

"Allmight said we can get our Hero Costumes. Are you ready?" Kimi said with a laugh as Hannei nodded and followed her classmates to get her case and saw her case, #23. She followed the girls to the changing room and took a changing stall and saw her costume….Oh God.

It was shiny yet dark but inside was a note on top of the costume. Care instructions maybe? She pulled it out and wrote in beautiful cursive was a note.

Ms. Tsukikage,

I do not personally know you but my name is Mikubai Azumi. I am a 3rd year support student here at UA that was given a great opportunity to create your costume. Your parents' designs were, as nicely said, primitive, so I added some modifications.

I saw that your quirk is called Shadow Mirror Manipulation so I created a few specialized pieces that are not on the market yet but your quirk is not common like a Speed or Growth quirk.

You have accessories in the utility belt pockets that work with your quirk as well as your new hair ribbon that I especially created for you at the request of Ms. Kayama.

I look forward to working with you. Reach out anytime.

Sincerely,

Mikubai Azumi
3rd Year Support Student
