Final Exam: Breaking Point

Another boring week for class 1-A. Everyone talked about their Interships (which Hannei barely talked about, rather changed the subject). She rather just study, train alone and actually do everything alone now that Kimi has basically glued herself to Raijin and the other boys.

Midoriya has tried to talk to her, ask her to train or even eat lunch but each time, Kimi interrupts them by saying that Hannei is busy doing something else. So, the young heroine has opted to eat lunch outside the cafeteria but today, Todoroki invited her to sit with him at lunch so she obliged.

Hannei sighs internally, eating lunch today with the self-proclaimed "Deku Squad'' but not really with her partners. It would seem that her partners were arguing about something and it caused them to eat at separate tables. All she got from the arguments was that it concerned secrets that Izu-kun was supposedly keeping from the group and that Kacchan was caught kissing Kirishima behind their backs. Hannei's head was swimming with emotions but right now, she needed to keep control and just bear it until her regulator is repaired by class tomorrow.

"Tsukikage, is everything okay? You barely touched your Soba and you seem almost like you are worried about the final exams." Iida clearly pointed out as she saw all she ate was her tiny green salad and drank some of her miso soup. Other than that, she drank only water. Even Todoroki, her life-long friend was starting to worry as she hadn't said anything during classes unless called upon

'I wasn't but thank you for helping fuel that worry now.' She silently scolded but her response was that of the generic: "I am just tired, don't worry Iida."

"I am sure Hannei will do great. After all, she did score top marks on our practice exams, she shares a seat with Kacchan." Midoriya smiled as Hannei was playing with her noodles.

In all honesty, her mind was on what the masked man she fought had said the other day. It played on loop in her head but she knew that she couldn't tell her Aunt.

'Dark Reflecta huh? We are not so different after all. You are my mirror's image after all.' Was swimming in her head after the scolding she got from her Aunt and Aizawa but even after barely eating the past few days of internship and then this morning, she wasn't hungry so she just looked at the lunch that was packed for her.

"Hannei-chan! Wanna have a study date at the cafe with Tsu, Hagakure, and Ochaco? Jirou and Ashido are going to Yaoyorozu’s place and I can't afford to fail, so I need your help little miss perfect-grades." Kimi asked in a saccharine sweet voice that made Hannei feel uneasy for a moment  as Hannei shook her head, peaking the interest of Raijin, who shared a seat with Todoroki when Hannei rose to end lunch, putting her lunch back together in her bento.

"Sorry Kimi, I have prior arrangements and I can't break them. Maybe next time." Hannei announced as Kimi whined.

"Hannei, I literally am in like 18th place with Aoyama! I suck at Art History and we both know I have a love/hate relationship with studying." Kimi whined

"Cut back on the video games and focus on the studying" Hannei explained (upset with her best friend who once didn't check on her after she was in the hospital or even talk to her during school unless she wanted something) as she shakes her head.

"Where are you going, Tsukikage?" Todoroki asked as Hannei gently looked at her old childhood acquaintance.

"I may just go home. I am not feeling well. I will text everyone if something changes." She announced as she quickly saw some red hair nearby talking to one of her partners.

"Skipping classes is frowned upon." Iida pressed as Hannei nodded.

"I know but remember, my quirk is mental and emotional based so I better go since my regulator is being repaired. I will message the class chat if anything happens." She informs him as she goes to leave before hearing her name being called.
