Makes me feel at home
It reminds me of winter
And hot chocolates by the fire

Reminds me of a dog I loved
It was big and bright
And It was mine

Reminds me of a past love
It was hot and pationatte
Yet it faded with time
The flicker of a candle
Warms my heart
Because it helps ease the pain
In ways I can't explain
I bought a candle yesterday
I lit it and kept it burning
It was so beautiful and bright
But was gone so soon
I hope to see it again
I miss it dearly
The feeling of home
The feeling of belonging
So Ill keep buying candles
And ill keep missing home
Because it helps ease the pain
