i don't wake up with the sunrise
i sleep away the day
sheets messy, mind blurry
slowly opening my eyes to a new day maybe not a good day
but its better to be positive
better to invision happiness
than to wallow in pity
warm bed, sleep in?
probably shouldn't
but its so tempting, so easy
just close my eyes for a few more days
sleep away the hours
dreaming of better days.
dreaming of friends long gone
so, so tempting.
then again..
so is breakfast.
maybe ill just rest my eyes
for a few more minutes
tell myself its fine
so warm, so safe, so comforting.
just a few more hours.
sleeping away the days.
