My irises shriveled in horror, "No..."

I struggled to speak as fire filled my visions and cries for help fell on my ears. My hands shakily rose to the side of my head as I gripped my hair in fear.

"Th-This was never supposed to happen..."

A figure stood before me as they looked at their hands in confusion and horror, "Whats happening?"

I jumped from the voice before looking up and giving a sad excuse of a glare, "What did you do?!"

A voice rang out through the flames and destruction surrounding us, "Y/n! Where are you?!"

My body starts to shake violently at the thought of what's soon to come, "No...no no no no no! Stay away!"

My shouts seemed to startle the person next to me, "What?! What's going on Y/n?!"

Tears ran down my face making some of the wounds I got sting, but I paid no attention to it. Instead, my gaze shifts to a small shining object on the floor a little bit away from me.

I crawl towards it in desperation and try to place it back where it should've stayed, my neck.

"No...please...not like this. Not here. Please...not now!" I wept as the object kept slipping off as easily as my tears did on my cheeks.

"Y/n!?"

"Y/n!? Where are you?!"

The shouts from before turned into multiple voices causing images of my smiling friends to flash into my head.

"No! Stay away from me! Please!"

"Y/n! What's going on?! Why are you panicking so much?!"

I ignored the person next to me as they tried to grasp the situations but failed.

My hands shook in terror as I stared down at the object I tried protecting with my life.

"It was never supposed to be like this...This was never supposed to happen..."

Fear rose in my chest as I heard the voices getting louder, indicating that they had come closer.

"No! Stay away! How many times do I have to tell you! JUST STAY AWAY!"

In response to my scream the person next to me grabs my shoulder and faces me towards them, "Why?! What's going on?! What's happening Y/n?! Answer me!"

I look towards them with eyes glazed over with fear, "Leave. YOU HAVE TO LEAVE NOW! YOU'LL DIE! Please..."

My chest rose and fell irregularly as I found it hard to breath. My mind was all over the place and my only thought was to find a way to get the hell out of here.

I raise my hand to my face and smile bitterly in fear, "I've caused too much damage...I can't...I can't hurt anything else..."

"Just tell me what's wrong Y/n! Why are we all gonna die?!"

The voice brought me back to reality as I heard the words "we're all gonna die".

Yes...that's right...They'll all die. Get out of there Y/n! Get out! We have to save them! We have to get away from here!

I scramble a bit as I struggle to get up.

I have to go.

"Y/n! Where are you going?!"

They'll die if I stay.

"Y/n!" The figure tries to run after me but is stopped by a growing flame.

I need to leave.

I keep running and running. As far as my legs can take me until I run into someone's chest.

"Y/n?! Hey! What's wrong?!"

I look up, tears streaming down my face as my eyes widen in horror at the sight of a friend I had recently just gotten closer with, "No...not you..."

He furrowed his brows with a confused and worried expression that doesn't suit him at all, "What do you mean? What's happening?!"

I try to step away from him but he pulls me back into his grasp, "What's happening Y/n?"

Yearning for some comfort and support, I give up and rest my head on his chest as I whimper, "M-my necklace."

His eyes widened, understanding the situation due to me being comfortable enough to tell him before, "You don't have it..."

I looked up at him desperately, "I have to leave here! I don't want to hurt anyone!"

He looked conflicted before his eyes stopped at mine, "I'll take you."

My eyebrows furrowed immediately, "What?! No!"

"Y/n, I'm the only one that can get you to a safe distance in time."

I looked down, a migraine forming in my head as I tried to think of a different way, "No...I can't...I don't want to hurt you!"

He placed his hands on my cheeks and forced me to look into his eyes, "Y/n we have no choice. And if I'm going to die,"

A smile formed in his face that made my heart clench, "Then I'd rather die with you then living a boring life without you."

The corner of my lips rose and a weak smile took over my lips, "You never change."

"Damn right I don't."
