I sighed and closed my eyes, crunching up my face to express my stress.
"Tough day?"
I turn around to see a familiar silver head, "Tetsutetsu! Hi! It's been so long!"
The boy laughed, his lips resting in a grin, "Only a few weeks."
I roll my eyes playfully, "Still..."
We chuckled before I asked him what he was doing here only for him to say extra training.
"Do you not swim? You were the only one with dry hair." He asked as he tilted his head.
I shook my head, "I don't want to rust my necklaces."
His gaze shifted from my face to the necklaces resting on my chest, glowing from the reflection of the sunset, "Ah I see."
I tilted my head in confusion, "You aren't gonna ask me why I don't take them off?"
He shrugged before flashing me a grin, "It's none of my business."
My eyes widened slightly before I chuckled, "Thanks Tetsutetsu. It means a lot."
"Ah!" His cheeks turn a slight red, "No problem!"
I smiled before gesturing to the street, "Can I walk you home?"
He grinned, "I think it should be the other way around."
I wave him off and allow the lies to slip off my tongue once more, "I'm meeting someone in a few so I think it's best to just drop you off."
Tetsutetsu raise one of his eyebrow questionably, "This late?"
I nodded and laughed nervously, "Family friend."
He nodded and we walked in silence before he spoke up again, "Is there anything you wanna talk about?"
I smile up at him, "Are you suggesting something?"
He rubbed his neck sheepishly before fixing his bag, "You just seemed stressed and I wanted to know if you wanted to...I don't know, rant maybe?"
My gaze stayed on him as my smile dropped slightly, "Can I ask you a question?"
Tetsutetsu perked up and this and readied himself, "Y-yeah! Of course! What is it?"
"Have you ever experienced love?"
"Huh?" Tetsutetsu blinked in suprise.
"Love. Have you ever experienced it?"
"Um yeah, I guess I have..." Tetsutetsu said as he rubbed his neck once more but this time in confusion.
I took my gaze off from the floor to look into his silver eyes, "Can you tell me about it?"
The boy blinked in confusion once again before looking down at me, "You mean you're not in love with a boy?"
My head tilts in confusion and my eyebrows furrowed, "No why would you think that?"
"It's just..." He looked away and cleared his throat, "I thought that's why you were asking me that."
