Karson Stan was born in Constanța, Romania in June 7, 1997. Stan mentioned in an interview that her mom believed she was going to a boy and that is why her name may be considered more 'boyish.' She has three older siblings including actor Sebastian Stan, actress and model Zoey Stan, and actress Annabelle Stan. When Stan was 6 months old, her parents got a divorce. She has explained that she does not know much about her father as nobody in her family ever talks about him and he decided to leave the family. Stan was only two years old when her mother, Georgeta Orlovschi moved her and her siblings to Vienna, Austria. By the time that Stan turned 6 years old, they moved to Rockland County, New York, after her mother remarried. Stan was raised in the Romanian Orthodox Church.
