Four days,
That was how long it had been since the Ben and Daisy last spoke which was also the date that she arrived in Germany. And truth be told it was confusing Daisy as to why Ben was now ignoring her.

"James please pick up," she bit her bottom lip as she was trying to face time the Midfielder from Leicester,
"Hey Daisy what's up?" James smiled at the young girl and she realized that he was still in bed,
"Oh shit did I wake you?" She asked feeling bad as he nodded and Daisy realized that it was 11 in Dortmund which meant it was 9 in the UK,
"Aren't you meant to be at training?" She added realizing that the boys would usually be unavailable during this time,
"Nah the gaffer changed it to an afternoon session instead, you look like there's something on your mind," he did feel slightly worried that she had phoned him for something important,
"Do you know if Ben is mad at me? Like he's been leaving me on delivered for the past few days," she explained as she watched his eyes go wide at the mention of his best mate,
"I don't know, he hasn't told me anything," he lied through his teeth despite feeling bad for her as he saw how much it was affecting her,
"So how's Christian?" He changed the subject knowing that she was staying at his apartment,
"Oh he's doing well, he should be getting back from training anytime soon," She smiled and remembered that they were going out for dinner since she was going back to the UK the next afternoon,
"Between you and me, do you like him?" James asked as Daisy sat there wondering if he was talking about Ben or Christian,
"Who, Christian?" He nodded as she let out a laugh,
"Not like that, he's like an older brother to me," she explained as he nodded, realizing that his best friend was a dick for no reason.
"Well I have to get going now, Ben is coming round to mine I'll ask him to pull his head out of his arse," James joked as Daisy let out a giggle and watched as the camera disconnected.

"Why are we even here?" Christian groaned as they walked into the IKEA,
"Because you need a new couch and I like IKEA," she held the smile on her face as she watched her best friends face drop,
"Why do we even need a new sofa the old one is fine," now Christian was mainly just trying to get his friend to leave the old couch in the apartment because it was actually one of the last things in the place that reminded him of Daisy.
"Please just get one to humor me," She begged with a pout as he turned to not face her as he couldn't survive her puppy eyes,
"Fine but we are only getting an arm chair," He mumbled as Daisy cheered and took his hand as she walked down the isle.

"What do you mean I fucked up?" Ben asked feeling worried as he grabbed a blue Gatorade from James's fridge,
"She doesn't like him the way we thought she did, in fact she said he's like a brother to her," James explained the information which had learnt in a FaceTime call with the girl who had been a hot topic for them over the past two weeks and he watched as Ben's faced dropped,
"Wait so you're telling me that I've been pissed off at her for no reason," he now instantly felt had for airing her for the past week,
"Well nobody told you to leave her on read," James shot back as Ben thought for a moment and remembered that he hadn't told him about that part,
"How do you know about that?" Ben felt slightly annoyed as he watched his friend stay quiet for a moment,
"The reason why she phoned me was because she thought you were trying to avoid her since you've been leaving her on read," James felt bad for telling Ben but he knew that the only way Ben would pull his head out of his arse  would be to tell him that he had actually hurt the girl.
"Fuck sakes," Ben groaned as he held his head in his hands feeling annoyed.

"You actually enjoyed that didn't you?" Daisy teased Christian as they came out of IKEA with much more than just the one arm chair they had originally gone to get,
"No, we just always come out IKEA with more than we originally planned to get," Now Christian was true, all of the times that the two would go to IKEA for their apartment it was every uncommon for them to actually only come out with the things that they needed,
"I can't believe you leave tomorrow," he added feeling sad that the apartment was going to now feel empty again,
"I know, but I'll come to your game against Tottenham and let's just hope you play," it had now become a joke between the two youngsters about the fact that he had been replaced on the starting lineup and was moved to the bench,
"You're not funny I hope you know that,"
