Daisy smiled as she looked down at her baby bump and truth be told Daisy was about to pop now being almost seven and a half months pregnant, with their little boy who had three different honorary uncles.
"If your father says no I'm actually going to cry," Daisy giggled hoping it would calm her nerves yet it just seemed to turn into a nervous laugh,
"My love where are you?" Ben called out as he walked back into the house after a long day at training,
"I'm in here Ben," she called out from the living room,
"How's the little one been?" Since neither of them could decide on a name that they both liked the baby ended up just been called little one by everyone,
"He's been a little kicky," Daisy smiled as she watched Ben place his hands on her belly and then gasped as their little creation kicked him mummy,
"I'm telling you now, with this kids strength I wouldn't be surprised if he played football." Daisy joked as Ben placed a light kiss on her forehead,
"I'm surprised this kid hasn't taken the sarcasm out of you," Ben smiled as they both looked back down to her belly,
"The only thing he's taken from me was my body," it wasn't uncommon knowledge that Daisy enjoyed having a smaller body but Ben thought that his girlfriend looked like a million bucks with or without a baby in her belly.

Daisy had decided that she had avoided her plan for long enough and that if she waited any longer then it most likely wasn't going to end up happening so she decided to just go out and say it.
"Ben I need to ask you something" Daisy paused the rerun of Survivor which the two were watching,
"What's up my love?" Ben looked up at his phone and then frowned seeing how nervous she was,
"I love you with all of my heart, and since we already have a little boy on the way, will you marry me?" Daisy asked as she stood up and pulled the gold ring out of her pocket,
"And please don't make me get down on one knee because we both know I won't be able to get up," Daisy laughed as Ben smiled not saying anything as he just got up and walked off and made his way to the stairs leaving his girlfriend gobsmacked,
"That bastard," she muttered as she looked down to her belly and rubbed it,
"Daisy this is the part that you follow me," Ben motioned for the girl to join him upstairs which confused her even more.
"Come sit on the bed," Ben said as he walked into their bedroom with Daisy hot on his tail as he looked through the draw of his bedside table,
"You know most people usually say yes or no by now," Daisy said as Ben let out a chuckle and held whatever he was looking for,
"Daisy Barkley, I was planning on asking you this a while ago but then waited for the right time," Ben opened the velvet box to show a gorgeous gold ring with a diamond sitting on it,
"Will you marry me?" Ben asked as he watched the girl just sitting there as she just processed what he had asked her,
"Wait so is this a yes or a no to my question?" She asked still wondering why he didn't just say yes and then force her upstairs,
"Oh just shush and kiss me," Ben smiled as he pulled the petite girl who he loved dearly in for a kiss.
One thing was for sure though, Darcy never knew how grateful she ended up being for feeling all those months ago.

Authors Note,

I actually cannot believe that
I'm saying this but, that's a wrap on If Only! I honestly don't think I've ever enjoyed writing a book so much which is honestly so surprising. I'm fully aware that I left the story at an interesting time, but I tried writing further into their relationship yet it just left right leaving it here. I would also just like to take a moment to thank you all for reading this book as it wouldn't have been the same without you.

Stay safe and until next time,
Amber
