Saturday came too quickly, a total of eighteen students signed for the class trip, six kids chose not to but it doesn't really matter, with school trips come a long bus ride and lots of bus games. The students were set to leave at 6AM, they carried set of clothes, some snacks for the bus ride, and fully charged their gadgets, the bus was slowly filled. Jaehyun sat alone in the middle, Taeyong sat with Yuta as Ten had to sit in front with the class vice president, no one seemed to wanna sit with him, everyone had their own friends anyway, Jaehyun sat comfortably, Taeyong and Yuta sat in front of him, talking about anime. Jessica entered to check the list "So we still have two students left, Kenta and Johnny, then we're off" she read out loud, after a few minutes, Kenta was skipping as he entered the bus, walking straight to his reserved seat. When Johnny arrived, there were still vacant spaces at the back, Kenta's gang waved at him to sit with them, Yuta signalled him to go to the group, then Johnny noticed the boy behind Taeyong and Yuta.

"Hey!" He greeted Jaehyun excitedly, startling the young vampire.

"No"

"Oh come on" Johnny already placed his bags down, plopping down on the seat.

"Alright boys, we're going to a lake for our camping, your seatmates will be your tentmates, so make sure you sat with your friends" Jessica told everyone, Krystal came with them so the boys were hyped up.

"You're a headache" Jaehyun shrugged, Johnny grinned teasingly.

The long drive started and Ten hosted a bunch of games, of course Jaehyun excluded himself, he's just a lookout here, to protect the nobles and the students, merely a student. Then they played scary movies that Johnny had to cling to him on every jumpscare, until they ran out of energy until they reach a rest stop. Everyone ran down to stretch and eat snacks, Jaehyun had nothing to do at all, he stayed in the bus with Krystal, the female seemed to be much nicer compared to her older sister "I'm sorry we had a rough meeting, I hope we'll get along in the future" she shook his hand excitedly. When kids returned, they were full and sleepy, Johnny, the most annoying human in Jaehyun's perspective, leaned his head on Jaehyun's shoulder like a pillow. Jaehyun had a sore shoulder when they reached the camping site.

"Miss Jeong, can we swim?!" Taeyong excitedly asked, the teachers wore shades as they set up their tent.

"You boys can do anything you want for the whole afternoon, our activities start at night" she smiled, the students cheered, most kids went straight to swim, others were smart enough to start building their tents first.

"The weather looks great but if it suddenly rains, there's a nearby shelter we can go to, our main objective is a courage test later, your bus partners will also be your courage test partner, the winners will get special prizes!" Krystal explained, the boys started guessing for the prizes.

"We should set up the tent first, what do you say?" Johnny asked Jaehyun, the boy just nodded, reading the instructions.

"You've never set up a tent before?" Johnny asked, he shook his head, making Johnny chuckle.

"Okay, let me do the big guy work"

When Johnny meant big guy work, he didn't mean to get entangled while trying to set up a tent. "Yeah, big guy work" Jaehyun chuckled, his dimples showing, his cheeks looking fluffy, Johnny had to stop and stare. "You just have a big body, not really good on intellectual stuff" Jaehyun grinned, helping him up, that's the first sincere laugh he got from Jaehyun, no sarcasm or teasing at all. Johnny stood up, brushing his pants. "Hey, don't be so mean!" He whined, following whatever Jaehyun was doing in order to set up the tent. Johnny went to swim with the others, Jaehyun stayed behind. "Miss Jessica, about the courage test, isn't it a bit dangerous?" Jaehyun approached the teacher "Don't worry Jaehyun, this area is safe from Es, just have fun while you can, child" she patted his back. Jaehyun wasn't really the type to play with others, most of the class hates him ir ignores him, why would he even try to fit in? Well, he was planning a quiet afternoon but Johnny decided to carry him to the lake.
