Johnny now feels shitty, he won't say it but he knows he's somehow part of it. Jungkook let out a sigh, he knew Jaehyun talked to Johnny amongst all the students but knowing that Johnny has no idea, Jaehyun really erased his tracks. "I'm sorry, I didn't know it happened" Johnny apologized "How much did he tell you about us?" Jungkook pulled his collar, Johnny flinched, he was taller and bigger but Jungkook is definitely stronger "He told me he's a vampire and about the Rank Es, and that you have some night class thing, that's all I know" Johnny confessed, Jungkook sighed, finally letting him go.

"He didn't say anything, he just vanished, if you have anything that may help, tell us" Jungkook patted his shoulder.

Johnny sat down on the side, Jaehyun's been missing? Was it the bullying? Did they make him leave like that? When he returned to class, Kenta was talking about Jaehyun being a "pussy" and dropping out just because he's afraid of bullies. But Jaehyun is a freaking vampire, THEY should be afraid of Jaehyun. It can't simply be through bullying, it just won't make sense. Jaehyun is a cocky kid who liked teasing him, some little verbal bullying won't affect him at all.

It came and gone by, days turned to weeks and weeks turned to months, Christmas break is fast approaching. Everyone had their own vacation plans, Ten and Taeyong will go to Thailand, Yuta will return to Japan, Lucas will return to Hongkong. Johnny had no budget to go overseas, he decided that the best way to feel at least "overseas" is to visit his grandparents and their farm in Jeonju, his parents were planning to spend the holidays there as well, he might as well join in. He packed some of his clothes, it was the last day of class, most kids were going home for the holidays, some are staying due to some personal reasons and others are going overseas. "John Suh, we'll have videocalls everyday" Taeyong gave him a warm hug as they finished packing. "Of course you idiot" he grinned, Taeyong was off to airport with Yuta and Ten, while he rode a bus to Jeonju. The bus ride took at least three hours, his grandparents lived in the outskirts of Jeonju, it was almost sunset and the view looked amazing along the way.

"Youngho! Our baby Youngho!"

"Nana!" He let go of his bags to run and hug his grandma, his grandpa chuckling behind her.

"Look at you, so tall and bulky, your dad was just like you when he was your age" his grandpa was one confident man.

"Johnnyyy~" his mom sing-songed. He carried his things inside as the smell of warm homecooked meal filled the air.

"You must have missed my cooking" his mom hugged him, his grandma was preparing a warm oyster and seafood soup, his mom cooking some homestyle knife-cut noodles.

His grandparents lived next to a cornfield, also their own business, corn stalks are tall enough you can barely see if there's someone in the field. Although his grandparents aren't really having financial problems, Johnny's parents declined financial aid for his studies as they are really not in the level to actually ask for money. Johnny's father has an older sister and his aunt's family will be coming over tomorrow. Johnny spent his first day helping prepare ingredients for tomorrow's Christmas eve celebration.

"Donghyuck, Jaemin and Jisung will be coming over tomorrow, I got them little gifts" his mom told his grandma by the dinner table.

"Oh sweetie, let's go to the market with Youngho tomorrow, we have to cook a lot of dishes for Christmas eve" her grandma excitedly planned the next day,

Their house was quite big with three rooms, they decided to have one family for each room and Johnny was 101% sure that Donghyuck will sleep with him, the kid loves him too much. Johnny slept on a matress while his parents occupied the bed, they had to wake up early to get the freshest produce in town. Waking up with the chickens cackling outside, it really felt like he was in another country, he stood up to look out the window, the cornfields and the nearby forest was the only thing he can see, neighbors at least a mile away, it was like a safe haven, away from pollution. Johnny had his morning coffee before his mom drove him and his grandma to the local market. There weren't a lot of kids his age or even younger, their town had agriculture businesses and kids these days tend to not prefer that line of work, choosing to study somewhere else (he is no different). They planned on roasting a whole turkey like the "American style", with traditional Korean dishes like stews and of course, sticky rice cake. They had about six bags and Johnny had to carry everything back to the car.
