Chapt 14 So that was your plan

"Your right I don't see any other ladies here" exclaimed Dexio laughing before I almost chopped his head off. So I looked at these people who were now my friends and said "do you guys like surprises?" They all stared at me deadpan "okay so yeah I don't have a plan unless anyone wants to go on a killing spree." They then all looked at me concerned "stop giving me those looks" "we would, if you didn't sound like a complete psychotic idiot." Gladion said "so no killing spree?" Asked Dexio "no killing spree" we all stated now looking at him concerned.

"So then how do we get in there?" "I guess we just walk in and hope that guards are there for us to fight or to tell us where the trials are" I shrugged. "Doesn't that seem a bit too easy though?" Asked Kiawe "yes." Lillie stated "and that's why we should do it." "Huh?" We all Asked I need sync. "Think about it they don't know that anyone else would want the stone because almost all of the people who live here don't. So what would be the point of  kepping more than a few guards on it at a time in the cave why would it need extra security when nobody knows it's there." "That's pretty clever Lillie" Hau exclaimed patting her head "thanks" she said smiling back up at him.

After two minutes of them smiling at each other I cleared my throat "ahem!" That got their attention. "You love birds won't have to wait too long to stare don't worry I'll just scope out the place-" "no, I will" sighed Gladion standing up. "Why you gotta ruin my fun it can't just be Lillie's for once," "Moon" he sighed. "you will walk into that cave, accidentally or purposefully cause a commotion, have however many guards there are come after you, get defensive and beat them to a pulp, walk into that cave and take the gem making us all wanted criminals here." He deadpanned I opened my mouth up to argue but nothing cane out so I shut it he smirked knowing he had won this. "I'm coming with you then" "what?" "My appearance is a lot less threatening than yours, they won't automatically think I'm from a gang. I have it all planned out, you will walk into that cave, they will think your here to take or kill something, you will get angry and beat them to a pulp, Take the rock and make us all wanted criminals" I smiled with a shit eating grin. He sighed and put his hand up to his head as if just being around me gives him a headache.

"Fine" he finally said, as we walked in we were immediately surrounded by guards with swords it was expected but still rude. "What's the big deal is this how you always- mmfmph" I couldn't finish the rest of my insult thanks to a pale hand over my mouth. "We're here because-" "let me guess" the guard cut him off "another team skull grunt and his girlfriend who is probably a gold digger they have been around more lately." One of his eyes twitched and both of them narrowed I grabbed his wrist so that he couldn't reach his sword. "We just want to know how we could go and explore the cave" I fake smiled barely containing my own rage. They then backed away and took out their weapons "the trial you have to undergo is fighting us" "that's it?" I asked "what are you-"one of them started before I cut them off with a "nothing just thought it would be harder" I shrugged then brought out my knives. Gladion then nodded in agreement getting his blade once he had taken it out he said "I guess it'll be entertainment for us" he got into a fighting stance.

"YOU LITTLE BRATS!"yelled one that came for me with an axe I flipped over his swing with ease and slit the back of his head. As the blood ran out he charged at me again but this time I jumped on top of his weapon and once he was confused and stopped moving I said "surprise!" And poked both of his eyes. He had temporary vision loss and in those few seconds I had managed to push him onto the floor and once his vision had cleared I clocked a sensitive part of his head as hard as I could with the blunt part of my weapon knocking him out. "Not a scratch on you, impressive but you won't win this time" Said a girl with red hair as she charged towards me kicking and punching once she had gotten close enough I took both daggers and sliced a thin line around her waist all while running away from in front of her too behind her slicing her back again to slow her down then I chopped a weak spot with my hand making her unconscious "night night" I smiled.

I turned around to look at Gladion kicking a guard to the wall with a crack that could be heard. It took me a minute to realize that was the one who said 'another team skull grunt and his girlfriend who is probably a gold digger." "Just couldn't hold your petty side back this time huh?" I laughed "no, I could but I didn't want to" "come on Gladbag we have got a rock to find!" "Yep I guess we do" he said following me down the cave filled with torches. That was when I realized I made a rather ginormous mistake coming with him the torches reflected off of everything so even in normal clothes he looked incredible. I hadn't noticed it yet until he stopped walking and looked at me. The way it made an orange tint come to his green eyes and blonde hair, really if the whole ninja thing doesn't work out he would be an amazing model. I hadn't realized we had both stopped walking and that we were lost until he asked "why are you looking at me like that?" "Me? You started the looking first!" "Let's just keep walking" "yeah." After that little set back we heard what sounded like a giggle followed by a pink glow down the cave and we ran towards it not wanting to loose the trail after 3 minutes of running we made it to the place where the gem lied.

I looked down at it "so pretty" I whispered to the Kunzite gem and as I tried to pick it up another hand grabbed my wrist, "now what?" I asked a bit annoyed. "You do realize that it could have traps right?" "Well duh but this one doesn't" "how do you know?" "Well" I started. "Nothing on here is weirdly engraved and while we were running I felt no claw marks either." "Yes, but still" he then stuck his Katana blade into it and the metal turned golden as he pushed the gem out of the hot prison. "Magic could have been an option I guess you just forgot" I rolled my eyes and scoffed "salt in the wound much." "please forgive me ms. Royalty from a hidden clan" he said starting to walk "you know we are going to have to get you a dress right?" "It's going to be ten times worse for you mister." "How so?" "Well on top of having to wear stupidly uncomfortable clothes you have to watch Hau stare at Lillie in a dress, twice." He looked dejected but still said "as much as I hate to admit it he would be good for her and help her come a little more out of her shell, I've seen him do it before. I told Hau that I was okay with him liking my sister but also told him that if he didn't treat her right I would make sure he was six feet deep."

"You told him it was okay for him to be buddy-buddy with Lillie huh? Get used to him calling you 'brother' when they do start to date." "What have I done" "only time will tell" I said walking out of the cave. "Gladbag and I found the Kunzite" "what took you guys so long?" Asked Hau "we kinda got lost for an hour." "Let's set up camp then discuss our next stop" said Hau "you might like it" I said while we were walking "you know already?" He asked "yes, Kahuna clan turf" I told them setting up my tent.
