-2 weeks later-**Ash P.O.V**
I softly chewed on my lip as Blair's funeral continued. The guys and I had taken our time putting the funeral together to make sure it was absolutely perfect. Andy and Jinxx were the ones who went out and bought the flower bouquet that all of us came together and made. They were placed in a large glass vase and the flowers consisted of her favorites: Red roses, pink roses, lily's, and orchards. CC and Jake went out and picked an Oak wood casket with a beautiful rose engraving on the lid.
Kellin and Vic came in with a surprise of their own. They had created a collage of photos and brought it in. The first row of pictures were of Andy, Jinxx, CC, Jake, me< and the one at the end of the row was of Blair when we first met her. The second row had pictures of Dahvie, Jayy, Kellin, Vic, Chris, Ricky, and Oli with the last picture being of Blair a year after she started living with us. The third and forth line consisted of pics that were of the guys, girls, SWS, PTV, BOTDF, MIW, BMTH, and Blair. Now, the last row of pics, I love the most... There were six pictures in each row. The last row had two images of me, two recent ones of Blair, and our beautiful daughter.
They had made copies of the collage and gave them to everyone who wanted to keep one, they also placed one in Blair's casket.
Dahvie and Jayy also brought in something for her and out daughter. It was a charm bracelet with an Opal charm, a Garnet, a Sapphire, A heart made of a G-clef and Bass clef, a violin, a bass guitar, and a moon charm.
I smiled softly when they attached it around Blair's thin wrist.
"You can keep it and when Blair Grace is old enough, you can pass it on to her." Dahvie said as he hooked the other bracelet around my wrist.
"We're very sorry for your loss... I think this has effected all of us." Jayy sighed.
I nodded a little and looked down at Blair Grace, I'm just going to call her Grace for now. But anyway, she was looking up at me with her large blue eyes. I knelt down and took her from her carrier then held her over her mother.
"Look Grace. This is your mommy..." I said, starting to choke up. "You're mommy loved you so much... She would have done anything to see you happy... And I would have done anything to have her here with us now.." I finished as a few tears fell from my eyes.
I took in a few small breaths to keep myself from breaking down in front of everyone. As I wiped my eyes, Grace started to giggled. I stopped and looked down at her to see that she was looking at an empty space beside of me and she was also reaching out to the empty space. I blinked and continued watching her, not long after, the excited look on her face disappeared and she started sniffling. I sighed softly then brought her close to me and gently started rocking her back and forth.
She started to calm down and she soon fell asleep. I smiled softly then continued looking up towards the slick Oak casket, it didn't take long till the guys and I started heading up to the podium to speak... All of us had written eulogies for Blair... Some of them were written and ended up being kind of short, but it didn't take long before each of us started to break down, so we decided to keep them that way... The first one to speak was Jinxx. He walked up and laid out the paper he had written on. Everything was silent for a moment before he finally cleared his throat and started to speak.
"Okay... Um... Wow, I've never done this before, so excuse me if I don't make any sense... I've known Blair for a long time.. The day we met her, Andy and I, we were walking and talking about life and other things, that was when we heard violin music coming from a near-by church. Both of us recognized the tune and quickly, but silently, entered the church and stood in the back of the room... The girl who was playing had on a blood-red dress, red gauges, and a BVB bracelet. She was also using a blood-red violin to play our song "Overture". It sounded absolutely amazing and she looked so professional, it was obvious that she had been playing for years... Anyway, near the end of her performance, Andy and I slipped outside and just so happened to bump into her violin instructor. After a while of talking and finally meeting up with Blair, we got her to agree to a contract and from then on, she was a BVB member..," He smiled softly before wiping his eyes. "She was the kindest and sweetest person you could ever meet... I mean, yeah, she was stubborn and hard-headed at times, but who could blame her..? She is going to be missed but her memory will live on." He quickly finished up and jogged back down to his seat.
I gently patted his back as Andy gathered up his mental strength and started to head up. Everyone was silent, all except for a couple of sniffles and and hitched breaths.
"Ditto to Jinxx..." He sighed softly and rubbed the back of his neck.
"Well... Jinxx already told you most of the story so... I'll start where he left off... After Blair became a member, we had her over to talk about everything that will start to happen and all that good stuff... As we were talking, something her former violin instructor said popped into my head. Without even thinking, I asked her about her life at home... Of course, she never told us the complete story... But that night, I found out that her grandfather had been abusing and raping her for a very long time, but I was lucky enough to get out of there and safely got Blair to the hospital. We stayed there for two days, that's when her heart stopped beating... I honestly panicked and spent a long time giving her CPR, when the doctor pulled me away, I just kept my hand held tightly in hers... Miraculously, her heart beat came back and she survived. The only thing that didn't come back was her voice, which was perfectly fine..," He paused for a second as he thought. "A few days after that, the guys had met her and we finally moved her into my house. A few months passed then one day, two cops forced themselves into my house and took Blair and I. Supposedly, her grandfather had told the police that I "kidnapped" her... I was about to be sent to jail before Blair exploded and told the judge the truth about everything... Heh, to be totally honest... I fell in love with her, but she turned me down and she also helped me keep the love of my life from walking away... There was so many things she did and I didn't have enough time to thank her for being there... I'm sorry Blair, your life ended just as it was beginning... I just wish it were you up here talking about me... But, I guess, that's how life just is...." He wiped his eyes as he finished and walked back to his seat.
I sighed softly and looked down, Andy was right... I wish it were her talking about one of our funerals, she was... So young... To young... Hell, she didn't even get to see her own children... Come on! She deserved to AT LEAST see her baby before she went! Life really does screw you over in the end, doesn't it?
I bit my lip and looked over at CC. It was time for him to go up and speak, but he was just sitting there, staring at her casket with tears in his eyes. I sighed softly and gently nudged his shoulder to snap him out of his trance. He blinked a few times before standing and quickly making his way up.
"I can't do this... Honestly, I can't... Blair and I were such great friends... We were like brother and sister... I loved her, and I would have done anything to be with her... So I did something I wasn't really proud of, and I never apologized for what I did... but, her, Ash, and everyone had forgiven me, the thing is... I don't deserve their forgiveness, I really don't..." His tears poured over his eye-lids. "I'm sorry Blair... I'm sorry for everything... I loved you so much sis, I just wish I apologized to you before this..." He quickly finished and made his way to the side door and walked into the main building. Lauren quickly went out to check on him while Jake walked up to speak, when he finished, Kellin went up after him. Then it was Vic, Dahvie, Ricky, Oli, Chris, Jayy, Kassidy, Nana, Lizi, Cattie, Rebel, then me...
The only thing I was able to do was walk up to her casket and place my hand on hers.
"I love you Blair, you truly changed my life and all of us were more than lucky to have you in our lives... Blair, you were my one and only. I promise i'll never forget you..." I said softly as I reached up and removed my prized star necklace.
I gently lifted her hands away from her heart, but to my surprise, something was already there. I mentally shook my head and quickly took the book from her hands and replaced it with my necklace. I quickly kissed her one last time before slowly making my way back to my seat.
