We each got dressed up and did our hair and make up before calling the restaurant and placing our reservation. It didn't take very long to get there either which worked out perfectly because I was starving.
The inside was gorgeous. It had a romantic feel to it, every table had white or cream table cloths, a lit candle, and a mini vase with different flowers. Beautiful dimly lit chandeliers hung from the ceiling that were so sparkly they seemed to catch my attention more than anything else.
A few glasses of wine later and plates of shrimp alfredo, we walked back to the hotel and admired the night sky as we went along and talked about the possibility of me buying the abandoned hotel.
While we were talking a voice in the distance caught my attention as well as the strings of a guitar

"Oh my god, that sounds fucking beautiful!" I said excitedly to Steph
"Yeah it does! That's an Elton John song isn't it?"
"Sorry is the hardest word, come on!" I grabbed her hand and ran towards the voice

He finished singing just as I made it to where he was sitting, the look in his eyes as he stared at the ground made my heart feel like it was falling out of my chest
"Tae?"
"Oh, hey ladies" he smiled
"That was you!?"
"Yeah" he chuckled
"Your voice is so beautiful!"
Not as beautiful as you
"Thank you" he bowed his head
I reached into my purse and grabbed some cash before I put it in his guitar box
"Elton John has nothing on you" Steph joked making the three of us laugh
"Thank you guys, I appreciate it" he smiled and I had to stop myself from pinching his cheek
"No problem! Have a good night Tae"
"You too" he waved as we continued walking
