Chapter 4

We have 2 weeks to prepare for the play. I have half of my lines memorized.

But thats not what worries me. What worries me is the kiss scene. Why 1) it's my first kiss! 2) things between soul and I would be awkward.

I mean if he doesn't like the way I kiss which I don't even know how. He might not be my friend any more. It was way too complicated.

To make matters worst Clair keeps giving me a hard time. I know she's mad that I got the part and she didn't.

I knew I needed to talk to soul before the play. So I asked him to meet me after school.

So here I am waiting for soul. Then I saw him come into view. "Hey maka what did you need to talk about?" Soul asked.

Of course I was nervous. "A hey s-soul I wanted to tell you about the kiss sc-" I couldn't finish soul started laughing.

"W-what's so funny" I asked blushing. "That's what this is about maka don't worry that won't change anything " he said.

I then got it and started laughing with him. Soon we where both on the floor laughing.

"Hey soul sorry I overreacted" I said in between laughs. "Hey it's ok we should practice our line's together tomorrow after school at my house"

Soul asked.

"Ok sounds good" I said with a smile. Soul blushed he looked cute when he blushed. But why was he blushing. D-did he like my smile I thought.

Before I knew it he waved goodbye and left. I smiled. But at that moment I felt someone's eye's on me. I knew exactly who it was Clair.
