Chapter 7

I was with soul walking with him to his house. I couldn't focus because of what kid had said about 7 minutes ago.

Then I looked at soul. He seemed upset. "Hey soul is something wrong " I asked concerned. He grumbled before answering.

"Maka what the hell was that with kid" he said angry. Soul scared me a bit but I shaked it off. "Honestly I don't know he's been acting weird lately why?" I said.

"Bullshit maka you where obviously flirting with him!" Soul yelled angry. I decided to stand mu ground which was a big mistake.

"No I wasn't I don't like kid and if you don't believe me then fine be that way!" I said before running off.

The next day I completely ignored soul. Which was pretty easy since he was ignoring me too. I felt bad but I knew soul was mad so he would never listen to me.

Then I saw kid heading towards me. "A hey maka.I wanted to ask you something" kid asked me while blushing.

"Ask me what?" I asked. "Would you like to see a movie with me?" He said. Then I saw soul watching. This was my chance to show him I don't like kid. "Sorry kid but I don't see you like that" I said sincerely.

"Oh ok it's alright we'll still be friends right?" He said with pleading eye's. "Of course why wouldn't we" I said.

He looked at me and smiled before waving me goodbye and dashing off to who knows where.

I giggled before I started walking home. But was stopped by Claire. "Hello maka I wanted to tell you that don't think your better than me because you aren't " she said with that annoying voice.

"Don't worry I don't think i'm better than you I know and just so we're clear just learn me alone!" I yelled.

Than she did something I thought she wouldn't do. She slapped me hard that I fell. Than soul came. "Clair leave her alone before you have to deal with me!" He yelled.

"But" Clair was interpreted." I don't want to hear it" soul quickly said. Clair huffed before running off. And I never heard from her agian. Ever.
