Chapter 5

I knew it was Clair who watched me the other day. I can't explain how I knew it was her but it definitely was Clair.

I think by now she found out why soul had asked her out. She obviously did this because she wanted the part of bell.

The girl has a lot of issues. Of course being the person I am I tried to ignore her. I mean she can't physically hurt me right?

Whatever I was more focused on soul anyway. I couldn't figure out what to wear. I could've just went in my regular outfit but I was going to his house right after.

So I closed my eyes and whatever my hands land on was what I would wear. I stopped and opened my eyes.

But before I opened them I saw mamma. She looked so disappointed in me. I stopped. I needed to stop.

I cannot make.ger disappointed in me over a boy. But he wasn't a boy it was soul. No soul only saw me as a friend. Nothing more. I'll just wear a shirt and some skinny jeans with my boats. Nothing to it.

{After school cause i'm to lazy}

I waited for soul but instead I saw kid. He looked very disappointed. I walked to him. "Hey kid what's wrong?" I asked.

"Oh hey maka it's nothing " he answered flatly. I knew something was wrong and I was goona fix it. "Come on hit me with it" I said with a much serious voice.

"Well the costume I got is asymmetrical!" He finally blurted out. I decided to play it his way.

"That's horrible!" I said trying to sound like I care. He looked at me and began blushing. Why was he blushing? "Wow maka you do get symmetry " he said with aww.

I felt weird. And not the way I felt with soul. But it was just regular weird.

"Wow look at the time I really must be going!" He said quickly before dashing off. I just shrugged it off but the someone tapped my shoulder.

I turned around to see soul the one person I did want to see. "Hey maka you ready?" He asked. "Yeah" I answered.

"Good then let's go!" He said before running. "Wait!" I said while trying to catch up. Soon we made it to a big house.

Soul unlocked the door and invited me inside. It didn't even seem like practice. We would make joke's and when we said a line wrong we would laugh.

It felt strange. I never had this much fun with anyone in my life. Ever. Soul just made me happy. We talked but at one point our head's were so close only one of us would move closer we would kiss.

I was about to pull away but soul did something. He pushed in. There we were kissing. The thing I thought would only happen at the play.

We kissed for about 2 minutes before we pulled away for air. "That was for practice" soul said. I giggled "ok want to practice some more?" I asked.

I don't know what happened to me but I liked it. He smiled with his big grin before he kissed me again.

I knew we aren't going to be together as a couple but I liked to kiss him. And maybe he liked to kiss me. Just maybe.
