"Hogsmeade and chilling in front of the fireplace"

Bundled in multiple layers, a beanie, and a small rucksack, with her Gryffindor scarf proudly on display, Aria headed to the Clocktower Courtyard to sign out of school for the day. She joined the back of the queue which was longer than usual, probably because of the excited third years who were ready for their first outing to Hogsmeade.

"Didn't think you were gonna show up." Cedric admitted, making Aria jump as she turned to look at him and his two friends: a brown haired boy and a brown haired girl, that looked very much alike.

"Happy birthday, Cedric!" She squealed and pulled him into a hug, before she delved into her bag, "I got you a present!"

"Aria, you shouldn't have." He said, through he couldn't quite keep the smile off his face, since that was the first time they hugged.

Having found what she was looking for, Aria held out a small package for him, a yellow and a black bow neatly sitting on top of it, "I'm sorry, it's nothing big."

Cedric smiled as he opened it carefully, revealing a chocolate frog, "Is this our thing now?" He laughed, this time him pulling her into a hug. Putting his chin on top of her head, and her listening to his heartbeat.

Both of them had forgotten about Cedric's two friends, who were watching the interaction with smiles on their faces.

"You going to introduce us, or shall we just go?" The girl joked as her and the boy steped forward.

"Right, thanks." Cedric said shaking his head, "This is Bella," he said gesturing to the girl, "and this is Ethan! The Wood twins!" He said motioning to the them.

"Twins, meet Aria." He said, stepping next to her.

Ethan and Aria exchanged a handshake, whereas Bella pulled the Gryffindor into a warm hug, "Sorry, too soon?" She asked, stepping back, "I'm just a very huggy person."

Aria smiled, Cedric going to sign the four of them out with Filch, "That's fine, so am I. Just not at," she said glancing at the clocktower, "half ten on a Sunday morning."

Cedric returned shortly after, the four of them beginning the journey to the village. Despite being the start of October, the cold air bit hard at them and all four of them pulling their hoods up over their heads.

They were passing into the village before they knew it, heading straight for the warmth of Madam Rosmerta's pub for a glass of Butterbeer.

Aria and Bella sat opposite from each other, unwrapping themselves from their hoods and scarves, Cedric sliding on the chair beside Aria, "Ethan just went to get everyone butterbeers."
