„I'm not doing anything else for men today.”
~ Kitty Forman

The sun was hung high in the sky. Not a single cloud was seen. As for England, it was a very hot day which only meant one thing - time for the beach.

They drove to the sandy beach on Roger's motorbike. Brian used to be very reluctant towards the idea of sitting at the back of it and even worse towards putting a helmet on and flattening his hair, but over the time, countless rides Roger took him to changed his mind.

Now he loved it. Loved that he had an excuse to hug Roger. And Roger smiled through this even when Brian squeezed a bit too hard. Lucky for Roger, the happiness worked as a painkiller for him. Brian could punch him and then hug him and he wouldn't feel the pain anymore.

"Change the station." the blond ordered, taking the hair out of his face. There was a light, warm wind but it didn't mess up the weather at all. Roger was laying all sprawled out on the blanket. He had only swimming trunks and sunglasses on, enjoying the sun bath.

Brian obeyed and rose up a bit, leaning on his elbows. He turned the knob of the little touristic radio they took with them. Brian was stopping on different stations, waiting for Roger's approval.

"Mhm... that one's alright." he hummed and his face morphed into a smile. The tune coming from the speaker was nice.

"Will do." Brian murmured. He pushed the shades up so it rested on his head, taking some hair back from falling into his face. One look at his skin made him decide it's time to put sunscreen on again. He was kinda angry when Roger reused to use a cream because he wanted to be 'sexy tan bitch', quoting the blond.

The curly haired looked with worry at Roger's reddening skin. He put the sunscreen on his hand and peered at Roger's face. When he realised that the latter's eyes are closed underneath the shades, he quietly reached his hand with cream to Roger and smeared it all the way through his chest and belly.

Roger sat up straight in a blink of an eye.

"What the hell?!" he shouted at the top of his lungs, alerting other people on the beach, who instantly looked around to find out what's the fuss about.

He didn't see them though, all he saw was his curly haired friend looking at him with wide eyes in shock that Roger had caught him.

"What... why?!" he tried to take the cream off with his hand but ended up only smearing it further over his skin. "Are you fucking serious?" he gritted with rage.

"Yes, but you aren't. That amount of UV radiation isn't good for your skin." Brian raised his eyebrows up and sucked in his lips so they created a thin line. He waited for more shouting coming from Roger after his weak save. The shouting didn't come. The blond shook his head and sighed deeply.

He teared the tube of sunscreen out of Brian's frozen hand and squeezed out some of it onto his fingers. Brian couldn't believe his own eyes when Roger started covering his legs, arms and basically everything else with cream.

"You do things to me that I've never even imagined someone doing to me." said Roger with a chuckle. "Other time you told me that even though I work at the butcher's, I should eat more fruits and stuff. You know what I did when I finished work? I bought two kilos of apples." He finished with a laugh. Brian smiled from ear to ear. It was good to hear that not only he felt that impact from the other man.

"You know, similar thing's happened to me." he started a bit too meekly for his liking.

"You also bought two kilos of apples? Or maybe two kilos of pears? I don't judge." Roger was smearing the sunscreen over his belly, covering the places Brian didn't get to.
