"Hi you must be Lexa and Lincoln Woods, my name is Niylah, I'm your boss."

"Hi Niylah, it's very nice to meet you." I greeted her, smiling and sticking out my hand to shake hers. She shook my hand then turned to shake Lincoln's as well.

"The other 4 will be here any minute so we can do introductions and lunch then show you two around. Do you two have any lifeguard experience?" Niylah asked.

"Yes, we both worked lifeguard jobs back home in Australia." I lied, smiling at Niylah. The truth is neither of us have experience as Lifeguards, but Niylah doesn't need to know that, just like how she also doesn't need to know we aren't actually siblings.

"Well that's fantastic! That will only make your first few days even easier. Ah look Wells and Finn are here." Niylah turned, and I watched as the doors to the lifeguard center opened and two men my age walked in. They were both wearing red swim shorts and whistles, and seemed to be pretty fit which is probably good considering they need to be fit for the job.

"Woah it's the newbies." One of them said, walking up to me and Lincoln. "I'm Finn and this is Wells." He said, gesturing towards the guy next to him.

I was about to introduce myself when I heard yelling from outside. We all turned to see where it was coming from and watched as a blonde girl ran inside, giving a brunette girl a piggyback ride, completely unaware of me and Lincoln's presence.

"Giddy up Griff!" The girl on top yelled, using the blondes hair as a steering mechanism of some sort to change the girls direction.

"Raven! Clarke! Stop embarrassing yourself!" Niylah yelled, fuming over the girls quite entertaining entrance.

"Who would we be embarrassing ourselves in front of there is no one...." the girl on top asked, but then stopped as she spotted me and Lincoln off to the side watching the whole scene. Just after the first girl saw me, the blonde did as well and quickly dropped her to the floor, blushing slightly.

Part of me wanted to watch the two girls try and hide their embarrassment, and see what they were going to say next, however the nicer side of me decided it would be better to just introduce myself to the two girls.

"Hi I'm Lexa." I smiled, walking forward to greet my new co-workers, and dragging Lincoln along with me.

"Hi Lexa. I'm sorry you had to see that, we aren't too great at first impressions. I'm Raven, and this is Clarke."

"Hi Raven, hi Clarke, it's nice to meet you." Lincoln said, and the two girls smiled at us. I was doing my usual first impression scan over Raven and Clarke, when I got stuck on Clarke's eyes. No matter how hard I tried, I couldn't seem to look away from the captivating swirls of blue that were pulling me closer and closer. I could see that Clarke was looking in my eyes too, but it didn't feel awkward, in fact, I kind of enjoyed the attention of such a gorgeous girl.

"Let's eat." Finn called out, finally grabbing my attention. We all walked into a dinning area where there were 2 boxes of pizza and a table with a bunch of chairs. We all sat down and started eating, and people began asking me and Lincoln questions.

"So you guys are brother and sister?" Finn asked, raising an eyebrow.

"Unfortunately yes." Lincoln lied, trying to sell the illusion.

"Shut up Lincoln, you know you love me." I smiled, elbowing him in the ribs.

"Not when you do shit like that I don't." Lincoln grumbled, clutching his abdomen where I elbowed him.

"That is so unfair. Why have the genetic gods blessed your family like this? You guys are so hot and you are siblings." Clarke pouted, from across the table.
