Final Part

Lexa pov

I woke up with a warm weight on my chest and I opened my eyes to see it was Clarke. I brushed away some of her hair and I watched as she slowly woke up.

"Good morning Clarkey"

"Good morning Lex. How'd you sleep?"

"Amazing next to you." I smiled, leaning forward and placing a soft kiss on Clarke's forehead.

"I want to wake up next to you for the rest of my life."

"Is that a marriage proposal?" I joked, playing with Clarke's hair.

"No. Not yet. We aren't even together remember?"

"Wait what?"

"Yeah we said we were going to wait until we were sure I'd be ok."

I paused for a few seconds trying to remember Clarke saying that. She was right. In the car we agreed not to be together because it would be too hard.

I quickly sat up in bed causing Clarke to groan as I moved to kneel down in front of her.

"Lexa what are you doing?" Clarke giggled.

I didn't respond and just grabbed Clarke's hands and looked into her beautiful blue eyes. "Clarke Griffin, will you be my girlfriend?"

"Hmmm what would that entail?"

"It means I take you on dates, we can find a house and move in together, I'll become Heda's favorite person next to you, and we can finally have sex."

Clarke started to laugh but sat up and kissed me, smiling into the kiss.

"Yes Lexa. I'd love to be your girlfriend."

"Great because I already have a date planned for tonight."

"What? Lexa you just woke up from a coma less then 24 hours ago."

"True. But I'm not afraid to move fast with you Clarke. You are my soulmate, might as well speed up the process a bit."

"Can't argue with that I guess. Come on let's go feed Heda."

I extended my hand to help Clarke out of bed and we walked to the kitchen together hand in hand. I can't even explain how much I love my girlfriend. I'm so happy right now.

The day was already going great. After breakfast Clarke and I took Heda to the beach who loved to run around and play in the ocean. It was so nice finally being back at the beach again. We said hi to all our friends who were working today as lifeguards and let them play with Heda too. When Heda got tired we left to go get lunch and Lincoln and Octavia joined us. It was the first time since before the surgery I saw Octavia and Lincoln together in a normal setting and they were absolutely adorable as a couple. I honestly think they are perfect together and have no doubt they will be married some day not too far in the future.

During lunch I told Lincoln I wanted to keep him as CEO of Trikru for now so I could focus on returning back to normal life. Lincoln was super excited to hear the news and almost killed me, hugging me too tight. When we were done with lunch I took Clarke to go get ice cream at a small store on the boardwalk.

When we were there we saw a cute little toddler walking around with his parents and it made me want one of my own so bad. I looked at Clarke who was also watching the child with soft eyes and I knew I had to ask.

"Do you want to have kids some day?"

Clarke looked at me and nodded her head. "I do. Do you?"

"Yes. A boy and a girl. And Heda of course."
