Chapter 2

---Paige’s POV---

I kept my eyes on Tyler and Amy while we set up camp. Jacob had found a spot close to a creek with some fresh, running water. The vampire twins had moved rather quickly to set their tents up, earning themselves some catcalls from the other guys before they disappeared with both their Beloveds.

Tyler was acting funny, making more jokes then normal while he seemed to avoid Amy. My eyes wandered to Amy while I tossed my bag in the tent; Amy was continuously glancing at Tyler with a sad yet longing look in her eyes.

I felt a warm hand on the small of my back, sparks spreading over my skin while I turned around. Jacob was smiling down at me while he had his bag in his hand. He motioned his head towards Amy while he mouthed “Go on.”

Turning around again, I started to walk away, only to yelp when I felt a pinch in my bottom. I scowled at Jacob, who held his hands up in fake surrender but a satisfied smirk on his face. “Think about it love, I made you yelp with just two fingers. Imagine what I can do with my hand.” He purred seductively, taking a step closer to crowd me against the tent.

I smirked at him and trailed my eyes over his body, slowly absorbing ever aspect before they landed on the considerable bulge between his legs. Leaning forwards, I kissed on his lips before I quickly moved them to his ears. “I made you hard with one look. Image what it would be when I really touch you.” I whispered before walking away, twirling my pinky at him.

His appreciative groan ran through the air while I heard Nick fake gag and Sean chuckle slightly. I held my hands up in surrender and defended myself, “Hey, he started it, I just had to come back.”

Nick just shuttered as a response and smacked his head a few times. Sean looked at him curiously, raising an eyebrow before he asked, “What are you doing?” Nick smacked his head again before he mumbled, “Removing some unwanted images.”

That caused everyone to laugh, even Cary and Cian, who came out of the woods with a blushing Lizzie and Beth. I noticed that both of the girls had a pair of small, pinprick like wounds in their neck.

Sean’s eyes followed my movements while I walked towards Amy before he turned away. ”Walk with me.” I said, looping my arm through Amy’s before I literally dragged her with me. She nearly tripped over her feet in an attempt to catch up with me while she shot a worried glance to me and then towards Jacob.

“What’s wrong?” she asked but I shook my head and kept walking until I knew we were far enough away from the tents. I crossed my arms in front of my chest while I raised an eyebrow. Amy immediately caught on and started to look very nervous, glancing around the forest. “Amy, what the hell is going on? You guys coming after us, after we clearly asked everyone if there were any volunteers and both of you avoiding each other?” I said while I started pacing. I just knew something was up.

Amy looked lost, glancing everywhere but at me. I sighed and pinched my nose bridge; maybe it was time to try and use my alpha voice. Then, second-guessing it, I said “Amy, I’m sorely tempted to use my Alpha voice to get you to tell me, but I won’t.” At this, she looked up at me; shock and confusion in her eyes.
