The Next day

"Cait, I'm going to be busy all day so I'm having a friend come over and watch you ok?"

"Ok. Who is it anyway?"

"Her name is Kerry Butler and she is super sweet. I should be back in time for dinner if not just go to bed and we will catch up in the morning."

"Ok, love you."

The doorbell rings...

"Ah, Kerry's here,"

An averaged height, blonde lady walks in with a warm smile on her face. I walked up to her and introduce yourself.

"Hi, my name is Caitlyn."

"Hi Caitlyn, your father has told me a lot of things about you!"

"Alright I'm leaving, you two have fun."

"Bye!" Kerry and I said in sync.

A few hours go by and I asked Kerry if I could show her a song on my ukulele. Playing the ukulele was kinda like my therapy, every time I play it I always seem to calm me down. I start playing a song called "Kiss your worries away" (this is the song Maggie wrote for Rob during Avenue Q Check out stars in the house to hear the song with the BJ Reunion) I was scared of singing in front of someone at first but I finally built up the courage and afterward Kerry said, "Your voice sounds beautiful, your dad needs to put you in a show... you deserve to be on stage."

I blushed in embarrassment from such a nice compliment. I asked if we can bake cookies because I never did anything like that and would like to try it. Kerry was so happy that I wanted to try something new. (i know that there are a ton of time skips but I don't have any filler so yea... editor out!) After we made cookies and nearly at the whole batch I washed up, shower, I was basically ready for bed, and Dad hasn't come home yet so I told Kerry that I was heading to bed and thanked her for making cookies with me.

"Ok, your dad should be home soon and you are welcome can't wait to do it again sometime. Night Cait!"

3 Days Later

Dad already left for his morning run, so in the meantime, I was getting ready for the day and today was the day I was going backstage at School of Rock. After I got ready I wanted to learn a new song on the ukulele because I was bored and I had nothing better to do. I picked up the song quickly and then I wanted to add the lyrics. No one really knew this, beside Natalia and Ayden, but I could sing, and I thought I sang well. I added the lyrics and played the whole song, during that time Dad came home, but I didn't hear him because my door was shut. Alex leaned against the door and heard me and slowly opened the door, trying not to make a sound, and stood in the doorway and waiting for me to finish.

"Why didn't you tell me.."

"AH... Oh, it's just you... Wait how long have you been standing there?"

"Long enough to know that you can sing AND play! I have so many questions!"

"Well ok go ahead and ask away." Alex walks over and sits next to me on my bed.

"1) How long have you been playing? 2) Who taught you how to sing? And 3) Sorry I scared you.."

"Wow, that's not as many as I thought you would ask but ok. 1) For 6 years now. 2) No one really I just did self lessons. And 3) It's ok."

"Kerry was right I need to put you on stage. I need to talk to some people when we get to the theater, but till then do you want to play something else for me? It's ok if you don't, I just want to hear more."

"Yeah let me get some of my music and we can play in the living room."

I played some of my favorite songs and even played stick it to the man which put a smile on my dad's face. I looked at the time and realize that we're going to be late to the theater and my dad surprised me that I was being introduced to everyone. When he means everyone, he means everyone, like the audience, crew, you started to panic a little bit.
