Wait ALEX?! THAT'S WHO!

"Hey, guys I got good news and bad news."

"Good news first!"

"Ok, well I'm being adopted. The bad news is that I'm being adopted."

"Oh.. Well, that's good! We are going to miss you. We are going to keep in touch promise"-Natalia

"Promise."

My friends helped me pack. I didn't really have a lot things so it was easy to pack, but before I left I took one final selfie to remember everything I did with Natalia and Ayden.

"Bye, everyone!" I said as I nearly started crying.

I waited in the lobby until my name was called, I sat there thinking who could it be... Someone nice or mean, whatever was going to happen, I'm finally going to have a family again. My name soon got called and walked into the admins office and waited for my new adopter to walk in. Time passed and my new adopter walked in and I saw who it was. It was ALEX BRIGHTMAN!

"Hey, Cait. Didn't think I was going to adopt you huh?" - Alex

The administrator talked to Alex about all the rules and he looked at me.

"Ok so Caitlyn Minney, your new name is Caitlyn Brightman, Alex will be your new father. And Alex if any of the rules I told you are broken she will be sent back here and you will lose custody of her do you understand." - admin

"Yes."

"Good. Goodbye Caitlyn we will miss you."

"Ok kiddo, let's go home," Alex said with a smile.

I couldn't believe my idol was my new dad.

"Ok... dad?" I said with a bit of a question. It felt uncomfortable to say since I never had a dad but soon Alex cut me off.

"Don't worry you'll get used to it."

"I can't believe it my idol is my dad..." I mumbled to myself.

"You need the keep your mumbling softer so people don't here and-"

"Oh um, sorry you had to hear that."

"It's ok, also.. This is hard," he said quietly, "but um I was your dad."

"WHAT?!?!"

"Shhh.. people may think something bad happened but we will talk more when we get home."

"Ok sorry"

Later we got to Alex's apartment and laid my suitcase on the ground next to the couch. We talked more about how Alex was my dad originally. All the dots started to connect and I changed the subject quickly.

"Hey, dad can unpack and get my room together."

"Sure what do you want for dinner?"

"I don't know Pizza, I guess."

I walked into my room and it was a blank slate. White walls, white bed sheets and accents of gray and red across the room. I put up some posters that I had of musicals and bands that I liked, put some clothes away, and under one shirt I saw a photograph.

"I don't remember this... She was pretty before everything happened," I said as I started crying.

"Cait food is read- Oh no why are you crying..." he said sitting next to me.

"Oh dad, it's um nothing" I said trying to hide my tears.

"Well, it's obviously something."

"It's just I found a picture of Mom before everything happened."

"Wait what happened?"

"You don't know.. Well, when Mom was done with everything of you and just sending me postcards and not having any contact, she started drinking and doing drugs, and she got abusive."

"She... She hurt you" Alex starts to cry as well at the sudden realization.

"Dad it's fine, we are back together now. We're a family again."

I went in for a hug and my dad was shocked but he returned the hug, and I felt a warm feeling in me.

"When you're done I have a gift for you, also foods done so get it while it's hot!"

"Ok Dad, I love you."

"I love you too sweetie." As he left he gave me a kiss on the forehead.

Later I took a break and finally ate dinner. The pizza was a little cold but I didn't mind. I couldn't believe it, I was Alex Brightman's daughter after all these years. Natalia and Ayden joked around saying I looked just like him and Ayden even said I might as well be he's kid since I looked so much like him, but I never really bothered with it since I knew they were joking. We watched TV for a bit and my dad helped me finish my room. As I laid in bed I thought, "Today is the best day ever."

Alright! Second chapter is done time for the next! Heres a hint on whats happening next.... you meet Kerry Butler.... THATS ALL IM SAYING!!! No spoilers except hints from me and me only! I just wanted to pop in and add small comments at the end, I probably won't do this at the end of every chapter so don't be surprised if i dont add a comment at the end... Im so not adding extra bits to make this longer no not at all.... Alright Im done here, see ya guys in the next chapter!
