A peter parker super long trip chapter. Set after endgame but before far from home if it makes sense. You con think of it as an AU too if you want.

   It was a sunny summer day. One of those perfect days with blue skies all the way. Or as much as you can see of it between the towers and skyscrapers not midtown, Manhattan. Which led to another dreaded school trip. Only peter hated going on trips. It's not like that but he believed he could do so much more with his time than hopping around and pretending that he was at awe at the new tech or the overall look of wherever they were going.

   This time, and in the spirit of shield coming back to life with some help from high military personnel, midtown high deemed it fit for their best student to take a look at what it is like to help serve your country, and that you don't have to be a soldier to do it, but in fact that anyone could. The trip was to SHIELD's new head quarters in New Jersey, but before that they are going to take a quick look at a nearby Air Force base.

   " I really don't like this, Ned. At all. I feel like my stomach is in knots." Peter mumbled to his best friend as they sat down at the back of the bus.

   "Don't worry ,peter. It looks like SHIELD is trying their best to recruit young brilliant minds, like myself of course. You're already an avenger! And you worked with the Air Force in a mission! Safe to say they won't try to recruit one of their own, or out his secret in anyway." Ned explained in a hushed yet super exited noise trying to sooth his friend.

   " it didn't work as it was meant to, but thanks for trying to ease my nerves, Ned." Peter told him and looked down at his wrists. At this time he would be spider-manning in queens and he already missed it.

   " kids, it's gonna be a long day today, and we have a very tight schedule. If you are tired feel free to get some rest on the way, it's gonna take a while." MR Harrington said to the class inside the bus. And peter tried to take his advice and relax on the way.

   Of course every minute or so Ned would ask a question. " do you think we get to see all the planes and drones and cool stuff there? Do you think we get to touch it?" Ned already started the flood of questions.

   " yeah sure, we can see them. They have models on display. Not very sure about touching them though." Peter's answer was laid back and some what relaxed.

   " cool, no that would be awesome dude, aren't you excited!" Ned saw that peter was getting somewhat sleepy.

   " it's super cool. I just need to relax a bit. I came back home late last night, and I didn't get enough sleep." Peter mumbled

   " then get some rest, you'll need it a lot when we arrive"

_____ time skip: arriving at the first stop, US Air Force base._____

   The bus looked very odd when it was parked next to the other cars. The yellow color standing out among the mostly black or grey of the personal automobiles.

   The class stepped outside of the bus and organized them selves in three rows and started heading inside.

   Chatter started flowing through the group as they walked inside. Seeing F-22 raptors, drones and even a group of pilots undergoing training and following in line after their commander.
