Densi 2: Take Me Home

Hey guys Happy New Year! Okay this is being posted well into January, I know, but it still counts as saying happy new year lol! Also, for all my densi fans out there, go enjoy some "group zen"😏😉 ahaha gotta love Marty Deeks lol xD okay well enjoy and hope you like this one shot, just a little something that popped into my brain😊

Disclaimer: still don't own NCIS:LA (I'm still working on that😉) so ya this is just me using someone else's characters to make adorable densi stories to satisfy my inner fangirl enjoy!

Third-Person/Narrarator POV

It's New Year's Eve and everyone at OSP has to come in for half a day only. The agents are all sitting at their desks doing paperwork, or attempting to do paperwork, but with about thirty minutes left of work, it's hard to concentrate on anything. Out of nowhere, Hetty appears behind Sam's desk and clears her throat, announcing her arrival in the bullpen and startling everyone while doing so. "Hey Hetty!" Sam smiles at the little woman. "Mr.Hanna." She smiles back.

She pauses for a bit and then breaks the silence with her next words. "Since there is no new case, I have decided that we will have a New Years party here." She smiles. The agents look at each other before returning their attention back to the small woman. "The party starts at 7:00 sharp and yes Mr.Callen, you may break our rule of not allowing outsiders into the building by bringing Joelle." Hetty smiled and Callen looks at her as if she's just read his mind, which she has.

"Alright! What are you all waiting for, go home and freshen up! You have about three hours!" Hetty smiles and dismisses her team. The agents gather their bags and make their way outside. Sam and Callen head to their respective vehicles, leaving Kensi and Deeks alone in the parking lot. "Let's go freshen up partner." He smiled as he grabbed her hand and walked with her to their car. Kensi got in the driver seat and Deeks in the passengers one and then they were off to his house.

Yes, why would they be going to his house if they both had to get ready. The answer is simple, she has practically moved in with him. Ever since that conversation at the ice rink and even before that, her stuff has slowly ended up moving from her house to his and the amount of times she'd been to her own house in the last six months, she's pretty sure she could count on her own two hands.

She pulls the car into his driveway and they both get out and make their way inside. She lets him grab her hand and lead her to the bedroom. He kisses her softly on the lips and she kisses him back. He goes to deepen the kiss when she pulls back slowly, leaving just a bit of room between them as their foreheads are still touching. "Listen lover boy, as much as I'd love to stay here with you all night in bed, Hetty is hosting a party at OPS and we are going to be there whether you like it or not." She smirked and kissed him again. "Oh I know Princess, but I was just thinking of how sharing the shower will save us time and water." He smirks right back. "Like I said, as much as I would love to, we just don't have the time." She smiled as she kissed him again softly then went over to the washroom and closed the door.

About ten minutes later, she finished her shower and wrapped herself in a towel so she could go back into the bedroom to get dressed. She opened the bathroom door and walked out into the bedroom where Deeks was lying on the bed listening to some AC/DC.

As soon as she was visible to him, he sat up on the edge of the bed and stared at her as she moved around the room finding her clothing. "See something that interests you Detective?" She smirks and walks towards him. "You know it!" He smiles and goes to wrap his arms around her. She steps back though. "Deeks, you heard me the first time, we don't have time right now." She smiled and kissed his cheek as she went to the opposite side of the bed and put her clothes on. (she had undergarments with her in the washroom) "Does that mean you promise me some fun when we come home from the party?" He smirks at her suggestively. "We'll see how we both feel, but I'm sure we can arrange something. Now, go shower!" She smiles and throws the towel across the room at him as he smiles and then walks into the bathroom.

While he takes a shower, she quickly does her minimal makeup and has loose, flowing curls in her hair. About ten minutes later, he comes out of the bathroom in his jeans and no shirt. He crosses the room to his dresser containing all his shirts as Kensi stares at his exposed stomach, chest and back. Her staring does not go unnoticed by him and he can feel her staring at him, but decides not to bring it up for now.

A few minutes later, they're both dressed and ready to go. They get into her car and drive to OPS. When they arrive, they see that Sam and his wife, Michelle as well as their daughter, Kam and son Aieden, are there, and so are Eric and Nell and obviously, the host herself, Henrietta Lang. They all greet each other smiling and happy and then grab a drink and a seat. A little while later, Callen and Joelle came inside, followed by their last guest, Owen Granger.

The team sat around, ate, drank, talked and laughed for a while and then it's about ten minutes to midnight. Kensi had decided to take a short walk outside the Mission before the new year came and of course Deeks went with her. They held hands and walked around the courtyard.

As they got back in front of the main entrance back to the Mission, Deeks stops Kensi. "What's up?" She asks when he looks her in the eyes looking very serious and like he has to say something. "Okay, I've been trying to ask you this for a while now but I could never find the right time to say this but I think now is the time and....okay...I'll just say it.....Kensi, will you move in with me, officially?" He asked her softly, their faces meer inches apart. She looked into his eyes and he feels like she's going to push him away and reject his offer, so he is completely surprised and stunned when she replies with a confident "of course" and a huge kiss on the lips. They smile to each other happily after breaking the kiss and then go back inside.

When the enter the bullpen where everyone is again, the countdown is about to start. They wait a few minutes and then it's time.

"Ten. Nine. Eight. Seven. Six. Five. Four. Three. Two. ONE. HAPPY NEW YEAR!!" The team all yelled together. Michelle and Sam, Callen and Joelle, Eric and Nell and of course, Kensi and Deeks shared their New Years midnight kiss.

As they broke apart from the kiss, Deeks and Kensi looked into each other's eyes lovingly. "What are you thinking, Princess?" He smiles. "About our house." She smiled. "Oh, and what about our house." He smiled right back. They both stayed silent for a minute, each other's arms wrapped around each other and then Kensi broke the silence a few moments later.

"Take me with you, I'd start to miss you, take me home I don't wanna be alone tonight." She sang in a whispered voice for only Deeks to hear. "Your wish is my command!" He giggled and faux bowed to the 'audience' and then they walked over to every one else. They all exchanged good nights and then Kensi and Deeks drove back to his, no their apartment.

As they got out of the car once she'd parked in the driveway, she ran up the few steps and as he followed her, she grabbed his tie and pulled him into the house gently while giving him a kiss.
