Since Selena stays in their home, Earth can't calmly close his eyes. He kept thinking of many trivial things, like how was Kao's relationship with the woman, or the reason on why they separated.

Earth often wakes up in the middle of the night, cravings something, and ends up waking his alpha to get what he and their baby wants. Fortunately, his cravings have been easy to get even if sometimes it's kind of a weird combination of food, or even just a warm cup of tea to calm the baby in his belly.

This afternoon, he visited Kao's office to invite his fiance to take a leisure walk in the garden together.

As soon as Earth entered his office, he was quite surprised to see Selena sitting on the couch reading a magazine casually and Kao was busy reading documents on his desk.

Earth approached his alpha's desk, "Kao, let's take a walk in the garden and have lunch there. Like usual," he said grinning at his own suggestion.

Kao raised his head from the document he was reading, he smiled softly, "Sorry, baby. I have to finish these documents first," he pointed to the stack of files beside him.

At first, Earth felt a bit disappointed, but he didn't want to be selfish as to force his alpha. He smiled understandingly, "All right, I'll be in the greenhouse if you need me, Kao," he said. He then left the room and walked through the garden to the greenhouse feeling disappointed.

Earth then slapped his cheek lightly, "Earth, Kao is busy! You must understand!" he said to himself.

When he was eating a sandwich brought by a butler for him, he began to think.

"Doesn't Kao's face look so tired? Does he have too much work?" he said to himself.

Is there anything I can help him with?

Then, without Earth realizing, Selena stood before him with a deadpan look.

"What's wrong, Selena?" Earth politely asked.

Selena clicked her tongue, "Did you just realize that Kao looks tired?"

Earth nodded uncertainly.

Selena chuckled, "Don't you know who made it that way?"

Earth shook his head, "Were his works piled up that much?" he asked.

Selena rolled her eyes, she crossed her arms and looked at the omega with disdain, "He was exhausted because someone kept waking him up often at midnight just to fulfill that person's cravings, even though work has piles up, he rarely gets a full night of sleep. Moreover, you often take him to go relax with you when he has a lot to do. Funny, isn't it? "

Earth could only be silent when Selena walked away, leaving him alone again.

A few days later at midnight, Earth suddenly woke up. When his hand was just about to shook his alpha's body, he refrained himself. His alpha need his sleep so he won't be so tired in the morning, so this time he decided to just go on his own to the kitchen and not to disturb his alpha's much-needed sleep.

He entered the kitchen which he thought was empty at first, but then he was surprised when someone appeared from behind the lower cabinet.

"Hello, young master Earth. What do you need from the kitchen this late at night?" asked the person who's wearing a chef's clothes.

Earth blinked, "Err...are you a new employee here? I didn't recognize your face."

The man in front of him nodded, "That's right, young master. My name is Boun, nice to meet you, young master," he said politely.

Earth chuckled, "No need to be so polite, I kinda feel uncomfortable. Nice to meet you too, Boun. An alpha, I guess?" he asked.

Boun nodded, he pursed his lips, then he let out a long sigh, "Alright, I haven't really get used to talking too formally like this anyway," both of them laughed.

"Oh, by the way, what do you need here, young master?" Boun asked.

Earth paused, trying to think of something, "Ah! I want to eat guacamole with crispy tortilla chips. Do we have that in the fridge?" his face showing that he wasn't sure.

Boun laughed, "Is this by any chance, one phase of your cravings, young master?"

Earth's cheeks turned red, he hit the nail on the head.

Boun then pointed to the front seat of the pantry, "Wait there, young master. We only have all the ingredients, but I can make it shortly."

After making sure that Earth sat on the rather high pantry chair, Boun began to move to prepare the guacamole as Earth wanted. The omega even gave a little input on what he wanted Boun to add in his guacamole.

After the guacamole with crispy tortilla chips finished, Earth began to devour it with enthusiasm. While Boun who saw it quietly chuckled, then he was busy preparing ingredients for tomorrow while Earth ate.

Earth, who was satisfied with his cravings, was just about to return to his room.

"I will escort you back to your room, young master," said Boun.

Earth nodded, because to be honest, the corridor to his room was quite scary.

"AH!" Earth was shocked to see a glimpse of a shadow passing in front of him. He who was so surprised that he inched closer to Boun instinctively. He suddenly heard some movements that startled him so much he trips his own feet.

"Easy, young master," Boun said as Earth looked about to trip his own feet. He was lucky that his hands were in time to hold Earth's waist or the omega might fall.

Earth smiled in relief, "Thank you, Boun. Both for the guacamole and just now," he said when they arrived in front of Kao's room.

Boun just gave a salut then he went back to the kitchen.

Earth falls asleep with satisfication both on his smile and stomach after that, he was relieved that his baby only wants simple things after all.

The next morning, Kao woke up first but his nose smell a faint of some foreign alpha's scent on his mate. He didn't want to just speculate any further, so he just brush it off and went to the bathroom to get ready for the day.
