Chapter 10

"You've got to explain what happened." Jinxx said. "He's miserable too." 

I pulled away from the hug and nodded, sniffling and wiping my eyes. Jinxx smiled at me and stood up, walking out. I followed and got to the main area of the bus just in time to see Jinxx walk out the front door. 

"Scram." I said.

Jake, Andy, and Ashley got up without another word and followed Jinxx out as Cc just looked at his phone. I gently took it from his hands and placed it face-down on the table. Cc averted his gaze to the window.

"You have to acknowledge my existence at some point." I said.

No answer. I sighed. 

"Okay fine. If you won't talk, I will." I started. "Here's what happened at the party last night. I was tired after a while so I went to the tables to sit and take a break for a while. Ronnie came over and we started talking. He asked me to dance and I agreed. After a while, he just...kissed me." 

Cc tensed.

" I didn't kiss back. In fact, I fell because of it and ripped a stitch."

I pulled up my shirt so Cc could see where Ash had fixed my side. Cc didn't look but I knew he wanted to. 

"Ashley brought me back to the bus and cleaned it up. I'm sorry Cc." I said, my voice cracking at the end.

He didn't move but for the first time he spoke. 

"What about earlier? At the tent?" He asked.

"Ronnie wanted to apologize. He said he was drunk and wasn't thinking. He didn't mean to kiss me last night, Cc. And in the tent, all he did was hug me." 

"Why didn't you tell me last night?" Cc asked.

"I thought you would be mad at me..." I said.

A few tears slipped from my eyes as I looked down. I heard Cc move and felt his arms wrap me in a hug. That broke me. I sobbed into Cc's shoulder as I cried and he rocked me back and forth. We were holding onto each other like if we let go, the world would end. 

"I'm sorry." Cc whispered into my hair. "I'm sorry I ignored you all day and all last night. I love you and don't want to lose you." 

"I love you too." I choked out.

"All better now?" Jinxx asked, peeking his head through the door. 

Cc and I pulled away and I wiped my eyes.

"Yes. Yeah. We're good." I laughed.

"All good." Cc said, smiling at me.

Cc kissed my cheek as the rest of the guys came back inside. I snuggled up to Cc as Ashley turned on Pretty Woman and ate dinner. I was just happy to be close to him again. 

Part way through the movie, I started to fall asleep on Cc's shoulder. He noticed and laughed a little before rubbing my arm quickly to try and keep me awake. It worked for maybe the next five minutes before I fell asleep.

I woke up to Cc picking me up from the couch and carrying me to our bunk. I cuddled into his chest as he stood up and whined when he put me down. He just laughed as he took his shirt and jeans off and climbed in next to me. Cc wrapped his arm around my middle and pulled me up against him, closing the curtain with his free hand, eventually placing it on my side. 

"Go back to sleep baby." He whispered. 

I sighed and fell back asleep almost immediately next to Cc.

When I woke up, Cc was gone, which was unusual since it was only 8 in the morning. I stretched as best I could in this tiny bunk and got up, walking into the main area. Everyone was gone. I saw a note on the table and picked it up.

"We got moved to the earliest sound check last minute so we had to be there at 7:30. We should be back by 8:15. <3 -Cc"

I looked at the clock. 8:14. Just then, the bus door opened and the guys walked in. Cc kissed me on the cheek as he passed and flopped down on his bed.

"Wow. You guys are 1 minute early." I laughed.

"Ugh. We shouldn't have been up this early in the first place had we not been moved up." Ashley said.

The guys sat on the couch. Andy yawned. 

"Did you guys eat breakfast?" I asked.

"No. We had to be there at 7:30. We didn't have time to eat food." Jake said, laying his head on the table.

"Had we not stayed up until 2:30 in the morning, maybe you wouldn't be so tired." I laughed as Cc stumbled back in.

I turned to the kitchen and started to mix up some pancake batter. We had about 3 hours before the guys had anything to do so we just hung out on the bus. Almost immediately after I had placed the pancakes on the table, they had been taken. We ate in silence and everyone finished before me.

"You gonna eat that?" Cc asked, pointing to my last pancake.

"Yes Cc. I am going to eat that. I just prefer to taste my food as I eat it." I said.

A couple of the guys laughed as Cc groaned dramatically and layed his head on the table. Jake, Andy, and Ashley started playing some video game while Cc yelled at them and Jinxx and I did the dishes. 

"See? I told you it would be better to just tell him." Jinxx said.

"Yeah yeah. You're right. Thanks Jinxx." I answered.

Once we had finished, we joined the rest of the annoying toddlers on the couch. When I sat down, Cc grabbed my waist and pulled me close to him, giving me a quick kiss on the lips. 

"EWWWW!" Andy yelled and ran into his bunk. 

"Cc?" Jake asked, holding up Andy's remote, offering for Cc to take his place in the game.

Cc scooted on the floor so he was sitting next to Jake and they continued the game. Andy eventually came out of the bathroom and whined at Cc for stealing his spot. See? Toddlers. Andy flopped down next to me with his arms crossed and a pouty face.

"Andy, sweetheart, you did leave." I said, trying not to laugh.

"Hey! I'm the only guy you should be calling sweetheart!" Cc yelled from the floor.

"That would be true if I didn't live with five toddlers!" I said. 

Jinxx laughed and gave me a high-five. A few minutes later, the guys had to get ready for their show and I was left on the couch.
