Jonahs POV
y/n & I's 13 year old daughter Annie has been in a bad mood all day & i really couldnt tell you why. Shes normally this sweet , happy little girl. But recently shes been really angry and sad.
I get in my car to go pick her up from school. She gets in the car and slams the door & crosses her arms. "well talk when we get home." i say as i drove off.
Y/n doesnt get out of work until 9 tonight so its my job to try and fix this. We get home and go inside & Annie immediately runs up into her room and slams the door. Why could she possibly be in such a pissy mood?
I gave her a fee minutes to herself before i decided to go into her room. I knock on her door "what" she groans "Can i come in" she didnt answer but i went in anyways. I saw her wrap in her blankets on her bed crying.
"Hey whats wrong" i ask sitting on the bed. "i dont know dad" she says "what do you mean?" "Ive been feeling sad, my stomach, back & my head hurts. everything just hurts and i dont know why." she says
I immediately feel so bad. "you okay? do you want some medicine?" i ask rubbing her back, She shakes her head no "i just want to go to sleep" "alright go to sleep, ill be downstairs if you need anything." i say kissing her forehead.
I stand up off the bed "dad?" she says i turn around "yes my sweet girl" "can i have a hug" she asks reaching her arms up. My hugs always make her feel better since she was little. "of course" i bent down and hug her tightly.
"i love you, go to sleep okay?" i say. she nods and i go downstairs.
*A few hours later 6:30 pm*
"DAD!!" i hear Annie yelling from upstairs i get up off the couch and run into her room. "yes princess?" i say. I stand in her doorway to see her standing by her bed crying. "whats wrong?" i ask her & then i noticed the red spot on her bed.
Meaning she had gotten her first period & Y/n wasnt home yet. "what do i do dad?" she cries "its all over my pants" " hey its okay, ill take your sheets off and put them in the wash with your pants, & you can take shower and then change after. We can cuddle if you want after" i smile at her
Shes always been more of a daddys girl when she was growing up, so us cuddling was pretty normal and ill take it while it last. "mom has stuff in our bathroom ill bring you okay?" i say taking her sheets off.
"alright go in the shower and well call mom after okay?" she nods and gets in the shower. I take off her sheets carefully and put them in the wash. I bring the new ones out and put them on.
I put on netflix on her tv playing her favorite movie the kissing booth. I go downstairs to get the heating pad & Ibuprofen for her to take, along with snacks. A few minutes later she gets out of the shower and is dressed.
"how do you feel?" i ask "im really dizzy" she whines "take some medicine itll help, then well lay down and watch movies." she takes the pills and water from me and takes the medicine. I lay under the blanket and she follows me.
"does your stomach hurt?" i ask. she nods i turn on the heating pad for her and put it on her stomach. I wrap my arm around her shoulder and she lays her head on my chest & cries. "i know it hurts i know." i say rubbing her arm
"just relax and close your eyes." i start singing her favorite song as she closes her eyes and falls asleep.
*skip to when you get home*
Y/n pulls up to the drive way and parks the car. She walks into the house and walks over to me & hugs me. "wheres Annie?" she asks "shes asleep, She got her first period today" i say "aww really how is she feeling?" y/n
"she was in a lot of pain, but shes been asleep since she got home" "maybe sleep will help, speaking of im ready to go to sleep" i giggle at her and we go upstairs & change.
we lay in bed & i wrap my arms around y/n tightly "thanks for helping her while i wasnt here" y/n says "of course anything for my babygirl & my queen" i say kissing y/n. "i love you so much were so lucky" she says "im luckier" i say .
& with that we knocked out for the night.
A/N: ive had this one planned for a few days now and i thought jonah was the best one because he WOULD be this kinda dad. But i thought this one was super cute🥺🥺
