Nicoles POV
Today our daughter Adley and corbyns son brayden are performing at a live event & singing a song together. Which im very excited about , i know theyve been working really hard on it.
"Adley are you ready?" i yell up to her in her room
"yes ill be down in a second!"
She comes down and looked great. Her hair was curled and did her makeup very nicely.
Oh i forgot Adley and Brayden are also dating , theyve been dating for about four years now.
We where the performance is being held & i could tell Adley was getting nervous.
"hey youre gonna do great!" i say to her
She gave a weak smile and continued walking to where brayden was. They gave each other a hug and went back stage to get ready.
A couple minutes later corbyn and christina walked over to me and jack & the crowd was full & they started to come out on stage. They started singing their song and it sounded beautiful they sound so well together.
"If I could do it all over, maybe I'd do it different
Maybe I wouldn't be here, in this position" Adley started , her voice was so calming and angelic
"i found you than i lost you lookin back is torture and it hurts to know i let you go you live right around the corner" Brayden sang
"true love , i know i had it , true love is so hard to find, true love if i could get it back id never let it go this time." they sang so beautifully together
"True love, is an inspiration True love, it was mine oh mine True love, If I could get it back, yeah Never let it go, I'd never let it go this time" the song ended and i was in a puddle of tears.
They did amazing and they're voices blended so well together , like they were made to sing together. Everyone started clapping and cheering.
Adley started leaving the stage.
"Wait!" Brayden says making everybody freeze
"i have an announcement id like to make."
Jack and i gave each other a weird look, christina and corbyn have a smirk on their face.
"what is he doing?" i whisper
"just wait" corbyn says smiling
"so as you all know this is my beautiful girlfriend, Adley. First i just wanna say that Adley, I love you so much. You have helped me through everything, always making sure i did everything i needed to. From the day i met you , i knew that this wasnt just some kind of high school relationship, i knew we were going to live together and have kids someday. When times were rough and i didnt want to get out of bed the next day, you were there helping me through it all, you make me smile, you make me laugh until i cant breathe: You truly are my soulmate and my best friend. Sooo i have one question for you" He says getting on one knee
I was so surprised, i knew he meant every word he said. I looked at jack balling my eyes out with happiness, jacks are a little watery.
I like over at christina who is also crying.
"Adley Mae Avery, will you marry me?" brayden asked
Adley immediately starts crying and covers her mouth, shaking her head yes running up to him and giving him a giant hug.
"i love you" Adley says
"i love you more" brayden replied
The crowd starting cheering and screaming.
I ran over to christina and gave her a giant hug & corbyn was next. Jack also gave them hugs.
"i guess were family now" corbyn smiles
We do a giant group hug as the kids walk over to us.
I walk over to Brayden first and gave him a hug, Than Adley. Jack does the same.
"proud of you son" corbyn says
"thanks dad" Brayden replies
"you guys are so cute, maybe cuter than me and your dad." christina says making us laugh
"mmm i dont think so" corbyn says
"what do we say ? celebratory dinner??" jack asks
"WOOHOO!" we all say
"alright lets get out of here" i say
We all walk to our cars and head to dinner , we texted all the boys to let them know what happened. & enjoyed a nice family outing.
