Part 2: A little Scottish Hospitality

(this is just for the story: this is where Leona Stephens lives, a beautiful 8 bedroom apartment in the old town. One of these rooms belong to the dogs, yes she created a pet bedroom out of one of the bedrooms. The song is by motley crue, home sweet home.)

3rd Person Point of View:

After moving in to their home for the duration of their vacation in Edinburgh, and having dinner with the owner of a 8 bedroom apartment in the Old Town of Edinburgh, Adam saw Leona going to her bedroom, and he gets worried, so he decided to check on her, her room door was closed. Meanwhile, Leona sat on her single bed, holding a yellow gold locket, which was oval shaped, she opens it to reveal her family, her mother, Janelle Travis-Stevens and her father, Arthur Stevens. Her mom died from heart failure when she just started college, but her dad died fighting in the war of 9/11, just before she started secondary school, she lived with her grandmother Darcie and grandfather Aiden, her father's parents.

Leona Stephens' point of view:

I looked at the locket necklace in my hand, the one my grandmother had of her son and my mother together, when I turned 18, I missed them so much.... I saw my mother's smile and I began to sing sadly, for it was her favourite song I sang, then I saw my father's photo next to mommy's, and I knew I came from a military family.... I was about to start high school when he was killed in Afghanistan, when 9/11 struck. I miss them so much, that I never noticed that I am crying so softly to myself. Then all of a sudden, my cries got a bit louder. Heres the locket.

Adam Driver's Point of View:

Leona has been in her room for so long, I can't help it but worry, then I heard crying from the inside of the bedroom, she must be looking at something that is making her upset. Sky says to me, "if something is up with Leona, go and check on her, our host helped us, now we'll help her in return, it's the best we can do, Adam." I nodded and then I heard music playing, it sounds like Simple Plan. But it changed to the song she sang when we scattered Moose's ashes earlier today. She switched on the repeat mode for it. I tried to go in her room, but the door is locked, so I knocked on the door, and she unlocked the door, and invited me in. I softly asked her, as she invited me to sit down with her, "are you alright? What's wrong?" She hands me the locket, and I asked "are these your parents, Leona?" She nods and replies, "my mother Janelle Travis-Stevens worked as the uniform seamstress for the RAF, and my father, Arthur Stevens was a legendary Field Marshal for the RAF, I came from a military family, Adam..." "How did they die, sweetie? I will comfort you if you feel it will get too much for you..." Leona nods and replies, "I lost my mom due to heart failure just as I was starting college, at 19, my father, was killed by a gunshot to the heart in Afghanistan when I was starting secondary school. I just miss them both so much, Adam..." And with that, her cries start again, and I spotted the Harry Potter throw and wrapped it around her. I saw hers was a Gryffindor throw.

Sky came in to check in on us, and because of the tears Leona had cried, she's fallen asleep. So I reported to Sky about why Leona was upset, I had found out that her parents died as she was growing up. I tucked her up and let Leona sleep.

Sky Snyder's Point of View:

After finding out about Leona's family, and how she's a daughter of a military Field Marshal for the Royal Air Force, I felt so sorry for her, as Adam covered her up and left her to sleep off the sadness. Then it hits me, and she could have an nightmare while she sleeps, so I alert Adam saying to him, "dear brother, she may end up having an nightmare while she sleeps, stay with her, if she does be with her...." Adam nods and he goes to keep Leona from any nightmares. The poor girl has came from a military family, and has lost both her parents as she grew up and ended living with her grandparents.

I've worried about Leona so.much that I've tired myself out....

Adam Driver's Point of View:

I sat on Leona's bed, gently looking on her as she sleeps, so I can watch for discomfort or scares while she slept... I can't help it but I caress her cheeks and this seems like a calming effect on her, she's an angel, I can't see why she would have dreams that plague her mind... I should tell her what really happened between me and Joanne, when she wakes up or whenever I am ready... I felt like Crying again just watching her cry, it's a stab in my heart, to see her like this... I was tired so I decided to stay with Leona, and sleep with her to help combat her night terrors. I saw her wise Husky puppy Aragorn, and he joins us and he puts his paw on my knee, and saw I was looking troubled. So I lifted him on the bed, and he sleeps on the bed with us. Poor Leona has definitely had it bad. I cried softly for Leona and her troubled past. All she is missing in her life is romance and friendship. Once I tell her about my divorce, and why I'm living with Sky, I could be the one to give her the love she needs to survive in this world, I'll be the one to love her.
