I pinned my hijab and looked into the mirror. "Ma Sha Allah, I look beautiful," I said to myself as I looked up and down then finally winking at my reflection
I had decided to wear a light brown hijab and a brown skirt to match it but my favorite part was my simple white top of course. To many, it was just so bland, but for me, I thought it helps me pull off the whole outfit.

"Beautiful? You look like a beggar than my own biological sister" I looked back and saw my cheeky brother clicking the camera we had got for him on his birthday.
"Bro......Delete that now!" I ordered and ran swiftly behind him. Since I was wearing a full gown, I couldn't run properly. So I stood there and gave him a nasty glare. He laughed mischievously and went back to the hall.
I followed my brother to the hall and saw my father sipping his tea. He looked up and noticed me instantly.
"Ma Sha Allah. You look like a fairy my dear," My father beamed exposing his pearl well-arranged teeth.
I smiled back and smirked at my annoying brother.
"Error correction. Devil, my papa, she looks like a devil," He singsonged.
I punched him in the arm and sat beside my beloved father.
"Maa...my chai (tea)" I shouted towards the kitchen hoping my mom could hear me.
"Coming dear," My mother gave me my chai and breakfast before hurrying back to the kitchen.
Oops...Did I forget to introduce myself? My name is Zoya Iqbal, Daughter of Iqbal Rahman and Fathima Iqbal. My only sibling is my brother who works in an IT company while I work as an interior designer for another company.
As for today, I have a college reunion. The college is celebrating its 25th anniversary and all our classmates have planned a reunion. It's been 2 years since I've met my friends. I miss them so much and I'm so excited to meet them once again. To be honest, I couldn't even hold my excitement.
After having breakfast, I went back to my room, took my phone and read the message that my best friend Safa had sent me.
"Di, Will he be there?"- Her message read.
Just the word that mentions him brings cold shivers to my body.
"I told you not to mention his name. I hope I don't meet him ever," I replied to my friend's message and placed my phone inside my bag and ran back downstairs hurriedly.
My brother will be dropping me off to Safa's house and together we have planned to go back to college.
"Ready?" He asked after I had sat on his bike.
"Yeah" I replied to him and punched him on the shoulder as always. Ooh, did I forget to say that I love punching people?? Yeah, it's my hobby and for sure I'm crazy.
He winced irritably and started the bike.
Throughout the journey, I was excited to meet my friends and there was also a little fear in me about meeting him, the devil of my life.
