Mikeys POV:

It's Monday Morning which means in twelve hours we're being sent on a mission and by we, I mean Seraphina.
After the meeting we had on Saturday evening I wasn't sure if it was a good idea to send Celeste and her team in. That was until Seraphina told us that Operative Jackson had another plan in mind.

Am I surprised? No not really. Operative J.O always took a liking to Seraphina despite them both being in different skill areas.
In IAO there are three areas.
The Alphas are the field agents, Betas are trackers and Omegas are Intellects.

I am part of the Omegas hence the Agent name: MO5.
M being the first letter of my name. O being my skill area and 5 being my ranking out of all Omegas in Locus Area.

In my area of the Organisation Henry is the top agent. 'Agent HO1 the best intellect we have' Operative Fawn says yet she doesn't realise how hard I work. How many nights I spend searching and searching for a sign of something. Planted or not I was the one that found out about Greyson Walker.

Either way I will show her through this next mission that I am the better intellect.

"Ok I understand that you have to mope around in your own time because you're the happy one but still. This is just depressing." She says gesturing at my body slumped against the chair. Trusting the legs more than I trust the Operatives.

I laugh as she pulls her wavy ginger hair into a ponytail. My own blue eyes fixed on her green ones.
"You would think that by now I would get use to your rude ass. Guess you're still growing on me."

She pulls a pencil from behind her ear and throws it at my computer screen.
"Well damn, Flora thinks she's a Field agent now. What did the computer ever do to you?" I hug it sarcastically.

"You spend more time with your computer than you do with me." She crosses her arms as she smirks.

"Listen here Kim Possible. My computer and I like to keep our relationship on the down low and our time together strictly professional."
She giggles at the remark and sits on the desk in front of me.

"Ok Jack Frost."
"Sam from Totally Spies."
"Michael Bublé."
"Hey!" I say in a soft but loud volume. "Just because I can sing and my name is Michael does not make me Michael Bublé."
She nods in the most sarcastic way possible.

Flora and I arrived at IAO on the same day. She was the loud and violent one which made me surprised when they chose her to be a Beta. You would think she's a field agent with the way she bosses people around.
I'm two years older than Flora yet I feel younger. Is that normal? I'm not sure. Then again all my younger friends treat me like I'm the baby.

She wraps her arms around my neck and pulls me into a tight hug.
"Mikey...I'll admit it." She digs her face into the side of my neck. "I'm scared for Seraphina. She's been way to invested in finding Xavier over the last few years but on Saturday it felt different. Like she actually has something she needs from this." She continues "am I going crazy?"
She looks at me. Her green eyes so light. I could stare at them for a while.
Not because I like her like that...just because they're nice.

"I know what you mean. Greyson must have told her something else. She's been acting weird about the mission. She usually isn't this prepared or nervous for a mission about Xavier or even a mission that Jackson has sent her on...but it feels like she has an extra piece of information."

She nods at me and we both look down.
I was nineteen when Seraphina just joined. Flora was seventeen. The same age as Sera.

We took her in. Tried to make her feel as comfortable as she could have been and for some time it worked. We introduced her to our close friend Santiago and she overtook him as an Alpha. We were great as a team and I hate to admit it but her and Santiago were the better half of the team. They got things done. So when she found out he was killed on a mission that Jackson sent him on...well she lost her bond with him. Jackson became a distant friend of hers ; although she might say otherwise, we all know she hasn't moved on from what happened.
