Everybody thought that Gregory Goyle had been an only child. He was just like any pure blood child in the Wizarding World. Spoiled, bigoted child.

He knew he had a sister once. She wasn't just his sister but she was his twin sister. But unfortunately, she was taken away minutes after she was born. His parents had been devastated, he didn't understand what was happening. All he knew was that his little sister was taken away at such a short amount of time in their hands.

His mother had kept her picture, minutes after they were born. His father smiled down at his wife and newborn twins. Goyle Senior wiped the sweat from his wife's brow, kissing the top of her head as he brushed a gentle hand on his twins heads. The photograph looped all over again.

Of course he didn't know why she was taken away so soon. But he promised himself that he will be strong for his family. He watched his mother stare out the window, clutching the only photo they had with her.

Her name was Hermione Goyle. Born exactly 45 seconds after his brother, in September 19 1980. She was a beautiful child, even in just minutes after being born, she resembled their mother a lot.

Greg sighed and rested his chin on the palm of his hand. It's their first year in Hogwarts and he couldn't help but wonder what it would be like if Hermione were alive.

Would she be in the same house as he'll be in? Or would she be sorted in a different house? Would she be friends with Pansy Parkinson or Daphne Greengrass? Would she be buddies with Draco Malfoy or Blaise Zabini?

So many questions that will definitely be unanswered.

Their compartment door opened and stood there was a bushy brown haired girl with deep chocolate eyes and big front teeth. Greg, Vince and Draco looked up from their activities, or lack thereof, and stared at the girl in front of them.

"Has anyone seen a toad?" She asks, leaning slightly on the frame.

All three boys sat dumbstruck as she tapped her foot impatiently.

"Well?"

Draco was the first one to recover and shook his head. Followed by Vince and then Greg.

Greg felt a sense of familiarity with the girl. He sat silently observing her, she looked to be around his age and she hasn't been sorted into any of the four houses. So she must be a first year, just like they were. Her brown eyes landed on his and he could see the wonder and curiosity in them. He felt like the hole in his chest, the hole his sister left, had been filled. And he didn't know why.

"Why are you looking for a toad, may I ask?" Draco says, sitting stiffly.

She shuffled from one foot to the other, looking quite uneasy.

"My friend. His familiar had been missing." She replied, wringing her hands together. She took a deep breath and stood straight. "Well I best be going. It seems to be Trevor is not here."

"WAIT!"

She turned back around to see Draco halfway across the compartment, his hand up in a gesture. She raised a brow at him while he cleared his throat, standing tall and brushing imaginary dusts on his robe.
