As Jinx headed toward the bridge I could see her face turn pale.
"Come on Jinx, it's not that scary, we crossed the bridge of terror a few days ago, this is nothing compared to that!" I yell across the river. I was just starting to notice that the current was really strong, so if you fell you were dead. Besides the bridge looked pretty safe, not.
Two minutes later Johnny and the dogs had crossed the river and were on the same side as me and Destiny. But Jinx was still scared, I could tell. 4 minutes later and she still wasn't brave enough to cross. We could wait, I mean I had time. Destiny, Johnny,Gigi,Noodles, and Goldy had left long ago, so I was all by myself. But their was trouble approaching, from the other direction I could se Terence and his men running towards us.
"Hurry up!" I yelled, mad at Jinx for wasting 6 minutes of my life that I could never get back. With one deep breath she started walking towards me, slowly at first then faster and faster at every step. For some reason the bridge had started crumbling. No it wasn't crumbling, it just disappeared. It would happen after every step, it was as if someone was eating it. That's when i realized that it was Rhyan.
A few moments later Rhyan and Jinx were safely on my side of the river, Terence and his men were about 20 yards away. But they had stopped abruptly after realizing that the bridge had disappeared. For those few seconds I felt safe.
