Miles POV

Percy! Percy! Percy.

He is stealing my girl away from me. I don't know why Annabeth hangs put with him. I am secretly happy that he has gone missing. I noticed that Annabeth got more scars when he came. Oh! They are probably in a forced relationship. I bet Percy blackmailed her. I feel bad for Annabeth because she has to go through all of this. I bet Percy is some bad boy who gets spoiled by his mom and dad with there money.(If only you knew) Yeah, so what if I am making guesses without proof. Everyone knows that Percy is some rich kid who is pretending to be nice but is rotten to the core(Yep, you have lost your mind Miles). He is probably using Annabeth. He will just leave her for someone else the moment he sees someone prettier. But I will never leave her because she is the most prettiest girl in my eyes.(*gags*) Nothing will replace that. Percy just thinks that pretty just has to do with the looks. That is why I will ask Annabeth out today.( It is taking all my willpower not write a chapter where he gets run over by a car, comes back from the underworld and gets run over by a car again.) I walk out of the school with my friends. Well. . . everyone but Annabeth. She has been getting distant lately and has only been talking to Adria. Wonder why. We all see her outside the school. She looks like she is waiting for some one. Probably me.(Sorry (not) lover boy but you are wrong!) I looked at everyone.

¨Hey! I am going to ask Annabeth out¨ I tell them. They all cheer for me. Well. Except Adria. We all look at her. She was mumbling to herself on how this was not going to work. She then turned and faced us.

¨No. She will reject you and you will get heartbroken. It is better to just under stand that she does not like you back.¨ she said. I felt like crying. I thought Adria was my friend.

¨How could you say that. I thought he was your friend¨ screamed Diana.

¨He is. That is why I am telling him. It would be better for him to know the truth and get prepared instead of getting his heart broken¨she said. I was now on the breaking point. One more thing like that and I will break. My view started getting cloudy. Did I mention I am a big softy when it comes to friends. That is another thing Annabeth will like about me. I am very loyal.(But. . . the real question is are you as loyal as Percy) I smiled at that thought. Another thing on my list of reasons why Annabeth likes me back. My vision stopped getting cloudy and I could see everything again. I looked at Adria. She had a far away look. A sad one. Something must of happened when I zoned out because now everyone was pushing me towards Annabeth. 

¨H-hey Annabeth¨ I said, blushing. She looked at me. Her eyes filled with curiosity. But if you look deeper you can see that it has sadness. I ignored that and looked at her. She was so cute.

¨Um. . . what ever you are going to say, say it quick because someone is coming to pick me up and take me to camp¨ she said. Ugh. That camp again. I looked back at her.

¨Um. . . well. Now that Percy i-¨ I did not even finish my sentence because I heard Annabeth crying. What?! Annabeth is always so strong. They are probably happy tears because I am asking her out.(You wish) I was about to finish what I was saying when Adria came running. I looked at her. The words she said still stung.

¨Are you ok.¨ she said to Annabeth.

¨Y-yeah¨she stammered. I felt bad for her. I now knew they were not happy tears.

¨What happened¨ asked Adria. I was busy thinking I did not realize that all our friends came to see what the commotion was about.

¨M-miles reminded me about P-percy¨ the poor girl. She gets scared when you talk about Percy. Well I am about to change that. I went in for a kiss when I saw a hand connect with my face and before I knew it I was on the ground. My friends rushed and helped me up.

¨Don't even think about it lover boy, Annabeth and Percy are dating¨ Adria said. Well more like yelled. (Right now Adria is my favorite OC) But, does she not get that me and Annabeth are meant to be. She was literally taking about it a few days ago. I can not believe she fell into Percy's charm. Ugh. I hate him even more now. No one messes with my friends. Then a blue car pulled up. It looked very expensive. (I am not good at explaining cars as I know very little about them) A girl with black spiky hair and electric blue eyes waved to Annabeth and Adria. (Anyone know who?) They both waved back, got in the car and went away to where ever they were going. I had no time to think. Right now I was thinking of revenge.

Oh Percy. If only you knew what was coming towards you.
