I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I'm sorry. It's been so long since I updated. I just lost interest. But I just could not bare to see this story go to waste like that... so here's the next chapter.

P.S. Trials of Apollo did not happen!!! Leo 'died' but came back a few months later with Calypso.

I walked down the halls of Golden Gate High. I was looking for Annabeth. Yesterday we both had a panic attack and I wanted to make sure she was ok. (For the hundredth time)

Flashback (3rd POV)

Annabeth and Percy were in the library . Annabeth was teaching Percy about frog intestates. Percy and his partner got a C.

Well, that was better than Miles, Percy thought.

"The next question asks what Tartarus is? Why do we even have to learn another language anyway?" They heard someone say from another part of the library.

"T-tartarus." Annabeth whispered.

"Bob, Damsen"  Percy closed his eyes, tears  coming. Percy  rapped his arms around Annabeth and rocked them back and forth. This went on for a while before they heard someone.

"Hey Jackson get away from my girlfriend!"

It was Miles. Percy bit his lip. He did it when something was about to go wrong.

Why did Miles always appear in the most awful times? Percy inwardly sighed and braced himself for  what was going to happen.

Flashback over

Weirdly nothing over the top happened. Maybe Annabeth was used to this now.

Anway, I saw Annabeth near her her locker, she kept glancing around like she thought something was going to creep up on her. Which I understood, since I get that feeling often. And not just from monsters but from Leo and the Stolls too. I smiled. I missed camp.

"Hey, Wise girl, are you ok?" I asked once I reached her.

"Yeah, Seaweed brain, why do you ask?" Annabeth replied.

"Well, you seemed really sad yesterday after Miles walked in on us." I said. Annabeth looked up smiling.

"Oh Percy, you are really so sweet I was just a little mad a Miles, that's it. But by now I'm used to it." Annabeth said, looking up at me. I looked at her grey eyes. They always mesmerized me. It was amazing how cold they could look, but at the same time, in the middle it was so calm. Her eyes always did that to me.

"Mhm, yeah" I replied. Annabeth looked at me and continued whatever she was doing. Which was right now looking for something in her locker.

"What's wrong Wise Girl?" I asked, worried. Annabeth sighed looking up at me.

"I think someone is onto us." She stated. What?

"What do you mean Wise Girl?" I asked.

"I mean" she paused and stuck her hand in her locker again. This time her hand came out with some papers. She showed them to me, my eyes widened. "These are papers of things someone had to do some research on. They would have to spend some time. A quick look can not have given this much information on you".

The paper was full of things I did on the quests I went on, but from a mortals point of view.

"And someone specifically put them in my locker"

"But, who? We were so careful, do you think it's a monster?" I asked.

"No, a monster probably couldn't have done this. At least I am pretty sure" She said looking around one more. Ah, so that's why she was looking around. It didn't matter though, we were all alone. But I guess double checking does no harm.

"Then who?"

"Well, I was doing some thinking. And the person doesn't need to know that we are demigods to be onto us." she said.

"What are you trying to say?"

"Miles is acting weird. And you noticed he was coming from the computer section from the library yesterday, right?" she asked in deep though.

"Um, no" I admitted.

"Oh, well, I am 99.9% sure he was near the computers." She asked. I raised one eyebrow. Something Leo showed me how to do.

"Well, the other point one percent of me just doesn't want to believe it, I mean, he has been a really great friend."

"I know, but-" I heard the first bell ring. Annabeth looked up and cursed the alarm.

"We'll talk about this later ok?" She asked. I nodded.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------

It was after school and the rest of the school day went pretty easily. Miles kept looking at Annabeth weirdly though. I don't think I liked it. Scratch that, I hated it. Especially with what Annabeth and me discussed this morning. I didn't want to automatically put the blame on Miles, but it's good to be cautious. I don't want anyone to hurt her. Annabeth might say she doesn't need anyone to protect her, but in my opinion, everyone has someone.

"Hey Perce," someone said, jolting me out of my thoughts. I looked around and found Adria. I had to look down. She wasn't as tall as tall as other demigods. Pretty short for demigod standards. But that made sense since she came to camp later.

"What's up" I asked her.

"Nothing much. A lot of boring assignments, but that's it. And probably a freaking stalker." she said casually, like it was an everyday thing. Which it probably is, if you count monsters. But I was guessing Adria was not talking about that.

"Annabeth told you?" I said.

"Yep!" she replied cheerfully.

"What's gotten you so happy" I said smiling myself. Happiness is contagious.

"Jack's taking me on a date!"

"Oh, that's nice" I said. It's been a while since I took Annabeth out. Maybe there's a restaurant or park somewhere.

"Anyway, Annabeth said to meet you at the place where you guys talked to Cassidy." I nodded and said thanks. Then we went out separate ways.

While I was walking I was also thinking about places to bring Annabeth to, when I heard rustling in the bushes. I looked around but couldn't see anything. Probably an animal. Then I started walking again. But only a few minutes later I heard more rustiling. But I did not see anything. But I put my hand in my pocket where my riptide was. A few minutes later I saw someone creeping up at me. It wasn't hard because it was sunny out and their shadow was clear. I took riptide out but didn't un-cap it. Just to be safe, even if it was a human. It was- Miles!?

I slowly put my pen down and back into my pocket.

"Hey Miles, what are you doing here?" I asked.

"Give up the act Percy, I know everything" he said. I started to panic.

"W-what" I said, how did he know that I was a demigod?

"All the things you did was horrible, I don't know how Annabeth likes you, after everything you did." He said. Now I was confused.

"Are we even talking about the same thing?" I asked.

"I am talking about your criminal record" he said. Oh, so he was the one to print out the papers. Annabeth was right, obviously. "What were you talking about"

"Um, how, I planned a surprise birthday for my cousin without Annabeth knowing?" I said the first thing that came to my mind.

"What? Well, anyway, now Annabeth knows the truth." he smirked triumphantly.

"Annabeth always knew" I said calmly.

"Oh," he said stopping.

"Yeah, anyway I have to go, bye" I said. But he was looking at my pocket. Oh Styx. Let's just hope he forgets everything. I started walking to the place. Annabeth is going to give me an earful for being late. At least I know who put the papers. What a weird day.
