Mortal Crush {being edited}

Jack's POV

I was worried. Worried for Adria. She was the only thing I was I was thinking of. I loved her. I mean sure, I feel like she is keeping a big secret from me (wow... you are such a good detective, here take a blue cookie. NOT!) Me an everyone else went to her house but she was not there. We checked every where. Annabeth was the best at things like this. But she was at her camp. I mean who has a camp in the middle of the school year. Right now we were all in the hallways at school hoping Adria will show up. That is when I saw her. We all ran up to her and hugged her. We all started asking so many questions. 

"Hey guys, slow down. I can not answer your question if I can not hear them properly. But first" she said. Adria went up to Diana, Blaze and Miles and hugged them. Then she came up to me and kissed me. Once we pulled away I got a good look of her. She was really pretty even though she was only wearing grey shorts and a blue t-shirt with some words on it. I could not read it because of my dyslexia. Yes, I have dyslexia. (Before you ask, no he is not a demigod for he is just a mortal with dyslexia) I did not tell anybody because I was scared on what they were going to say. I looked back at Adria. Gosh, (don't you mean gods) I swear (on the river styx?) she was getting prettier ever second. But then something caught my attention, I looked at her arm. She had scars. I looked at everyone. They seemed to already realize that she had scars. I wonder how they realized so fast, it has not been that long since she came. (no, it has actually been a while. You were just too busy fantasizing about Adria.) 

"Adria, where did you get all those scars" Diana exclaimed, being the first one to get out of the shock.

"Yeah, did someone hurt you" I asked, worried for my girlfriend.

"Well yeah, someone kind of hurt me, but don't worry it was just for fun" she said. Fun! For fun! Does she not realize she had scars. I sighed.

"Well then, where were you? We were all so worried" I said. Everyone nodded in agreament.

"Oh, I was at a camp" she said. Wait, scars + camp in the middle of the school year = The camp Annabeth goes to! Everyone else seemed to connect the dots.

"You went to the camp Annabeth goes to" we all yelled.

"Yeah" she said very calm.

"What happened? How is the camp? How do you get in there? Who hurt you? Why did they hurt you? How co-" we all started. Then she stopped us.

"Ok, so, the camp is amazing, I got there because I have ADHD, dyslexia, and one parent, my friend hurt me, but only because we were playing sword fighting, I hurt her too" she said. Ugh. I only had one of the regulations. If I also had ADHD and one parent maybe I could go too. But then again I love my parents. They are the best. 

"Oh" we all said. We looked at Miles. He nodded. It was time for the plan. We had coming up with this plan to break up Annabeth and Percy for a long time. Speaking of Annabeth where is she.

"Hey where is Annabeth" I asked.

"Oh, she stayed back at the camp" said Adria. We nodded. I sighed, but not loud enough for people to hear. I hated the plan. I really wanted to give Percy a try. And I feel bad that he got kidnapped. 

"Well, we wanted to give you something" he said with his best sad smile. Which was horrible. Well probably to us because we knew that he was secretly happy.

"What?" asked Adria.

"Well. . . we found Percy's phone and we wanted to search in it to make sure he did not cheat on Annabeth, and the phone was already unlocked so we looked through his messages and we saw a picture of a girl that was not Annabeth for a profile picture. We knew it could have been his cousin but we wanted to make sure, but when we clicked it we saw that they were secretly dating. He was cheating on Annabeth. We had to tell Annabeth but she is not here right now." he said. The truth was that the phone was his dad's old phone and the profile was fake. It also took forever to make this up. It would have been quicker if it were not for Miles. He wanted to say things like "He found Percy kissing some girl" of "he found Percy at a park and that he was lying about getting kidnapped." But that was impossible. He could of not saw Percy kissing some girl because he was kidnapped, but even if he was not, why would he tell Annabeth that he was kidnapped, if he was already kidnapped? For a smart person, Miles was pretty stupid during our meetings. Yes, we called them meetings. Pretty lame.I looked at Adria.

"Um. . . guys. Percy does not have a phone" she said. Ugh. We did not think of this.

"Well this is Percy's back up phone" Miles lied.

"And how do you know that" Adria asked. She is good at this.

"Uh. . . because you said that Percy did not have a phone" he said. Idiot.

"Yeah, what ever you say" Adria said. Then the bell rang and she walked away.

"Wait, come back" Miles ran after her. I smiled. Some things never change.

Um... hey. I know I said that I will update in the after noon but I woke up really late so I could not. And then I had a class. But here it is! I hope you like it. Bye!
