I woke up the next morning, eyes tired but awake. I loved seeing him last night, and I couldn't wait for it to happen again. He was so perfect for me, and no matter what my mom said, he was so sweet and kind. I turned over to flip the switch off of my lights, when I saw a feather. It looked like mine, except less fluffy looking and more black. It could only be one person's.
Colby.
I picked up the feather, tracing the edges with my finger.
"Wow," I brought it over to my small book collection, opening a mint notebook and placing the feather on the ground for a moment. I picked up a pencil and began to write.Colby Brock. The blue eyed dark angel. His soft smile, his bright blue eyes, his gentle hands, intertwining with mine. His soft brown hair, always falling in the right places. His beautiful wings, the way they made me feel safe whenever wrapped around me. His voice only speaking kind words, words of love. He's so perfect, so right for me. I love him, and he loves me.
- Sam - 7 - 23 - 15I placed the feather on the page, closing the book and stacking it on top of my other books. I stretched my wings, flying down to the kitchen and grabbing bread and butter. My mom walked up behind me, scaring the absolute shit out of me.
"Jesus mom!" I jumped.
She rolled her eyes and grabbed something out of the cabinet. I leaned over the counter slightly, wishing that my mom would just believe me. Wishing that she knew Colby was just like us. Why couldn't she just see that?!I sat in my hideout, munching on my bread and reading a book. I flipped through the pages, understanding each word and filling my head with knowledge.
Later that night, I stared into the sunset. Shades of pink and blue painted the sky, blending together and lighting up with the last bit of sun. I couldn't wait to see Colby again!
The blue moonlight lit up everything, soothing my body and making me fall asleep.
My eyes fluttered open when I felt a familiar pair of hands on my waist.
"Colby?" I blinked.
"Yes, Sam. It's me." He replied with a soft voice.
"I missed you." I turned over, meeting face to face with him.
"I missed you too, baby." He smiled.
I once again, dug my face in his neck. The smell of him filling my nose and soothing me. I couldn't help but close my eyes and fall asleep. He was way to comfy and warm not to. It seems as he did too because I never felt the warmth leave.
