We smiled widely, connecting our lips harshly and falling onto the leafy ground.
"When did this happen exactly?" She laughed.
"A few weeks ago." He pulled away.
"You've been keeping this secret from me for WEEKS?" Her eyes went wide.
"Yeahhh..." He trailed off.
"What do your parents think of this?" She pointed to me.
"My mom, won't listen to me. I keep trying to tell her how sweet and kind Colby is, but she won't let me." I frowned.
"I bet you guys are glad I did." She smiled.
"Yeah." I replied.
"Why are you guys here?"
"I needed to leave my mom. She caught us hanging out and got really pissed off so we left and came here." I explained.
"Oh wow." Her eyes went wide.

"SAMUEL!"

We jumped, hearing my mom's voice echo throughout the forest.
"Oh no. That's my mom." I shivered, clinging onto Colby's sleeve.
"SAM!!" My mom's figure appeared around the trees, flying towards us.
I cried into his shirt, scared of what my mom would do to us. She yanked my arm, pulling me away from my baby.
"STOP!!" I screached, anger raging in my bones.
"No! You're coming with me!" She growled.
"No! I'm staying here!" She gripped my wrist tighter. "I'm staying here with Colby, mother." I narrowed my eyes.
"Oh no you're not!"
"Uh yeah I am!" I glared at her with demon eyes. "Get the fuck off me!" I yanked my wrist out of her grip.
We sat there silent for a moment or two.
"You don't understand." I buried my head in my knees. "You won't listen to me. You won't understand that Colby is the definition of kind and sweet!" I cried, looking up and hugging my knees tighter. "Why can't you just see that?"
