Chapter 7

~~Stress's POV~~

False's elytra was too damaged to fly so we started running through the jungle. It was quite hard to walk through the thick bushes and underbrush, but we were making our way through the jungle quickly. False stopped I ran straight into her falling back onto the soft ground. She turned around and lent me her hand. "Is it to late to say watch out?"

I laughed at the comment before walking over to the ladder that went into the hole. I started climbing down the massive ladder. When I heard a woosh sound and proceeded to fall off of the ladder. "Wha-what was that?"

False rolled her eyes, before handing me an ender pearl. I got up and dusted myself off before running after her. "So.... what's the plan? How are you planning to do the magic."

False slumped her shoulders before turning toward me "I don't know but we'll figure it out." She continued walking, I heard a sigh from her "Stress? What if I can't use my magic in hermitcraft? I haven't tried to use it yet.

"It's a possibility but remember it really isn't known about so I don't think X would be able to ban it." I said. False nodded smiling, she rounded the corner and there the portal was. It looked majestic compared to the normal gloominess of the nether portal. I started to question how False knew where it was. "False how did you know where this was?"

False laughed "I don't know actually... maybe destiny." She wiggled her fingers when she said destiny, I fell over laughing. We always joked about the concept of destiny. False stepped up to the portal kneeling down in front of it. She turned around to look at me "here goes nothing!"

~~False's POV~~

I was nervous, but I had a determination to do this. I turned around to face Stress a smile etched across Stress's face "Here goes nothing!"

I turned back around closing my eyes, I heard a gasp from Stress. It felt so natural the coldness of the magic felt like it should be there. I touched my hand down onto the glow stone almost as muscle memory. I felt a wave of magic wash over me; it was so powerful! I felt at peace but then I opened my eyes back to reality.

I got up and stepped away from the portal. It was majestic it had a blue glow in the middle of the portal. I felt an urge to walk into it when I felt Stress latch on to me. "That was amazing!!!"

I couldn't help but smile, stepping away from the portal Stress rarely got super excited about anything. I felt proud of my magic, a feeling I had never known well. Stress let go of me before speaking. "Oh goodness the meeting should be over by now, we should go!"

We walked away reality of the situation slowly reappearing in my head.

~~Xiusma's POV~~

I had gathered some of the hermits to tell False, Stress and Scar if he had woken up yet about our plan. No one knew anything about the Aether besides Joe but Joe knew about everything. Well at least he seemed to.

Bdubs cleared his throat, "Ummm they aren't here." This got mixed reactions from everyone, some people gasped others showed the shock on their faces, and the architects' said "oh no..." In unison. We walked in farther some of the hermits going to check if Scar was okay the rest of us looking around.

We heard too voices from outside the mansion all of us raising our swords at the sudden noise. False and Stress stepped in to Grian's mansion. They looked at us with our swords raised, there eyes widened. "Did we walk into something?" Stress said jokingly

I put my sword away before speaking "Where were you!! I thought you agreed to stay here." False rubbed the back of her neck. "Well ummm..." Stress shushed False before speaking "False wanted to test if her hip was okay, we got distracted by the scenery..?

It was an acceptable answer, so I let it slide. Cleo on the other hand was a bit worked up. "I thought you were kidnapped or something! You worried me, don't make me break your legs!!!"

The two shrunk back, Doc cleared his throat "Maybe we should get them caught up on the plan?" I nodded to Doc as he took charge to explain what the "plan" was if you could call it that.
