It all started with Nebby//AshxGladion [Under Editing]

The dark haired boy named Ash, is taking a walk around the island.

The many things and images that plague his mind make him unable to sleep at night, PTSD and insomnia.

Ash feels guilty for the way his Pokemon ended up, injured, scared or dead. He feels an ache in his chest, like every time he tries to unlock his brain and remember his life from before. Ash spent his new life here, on an island for many years. He remembers being young when he first arrived with his memory wiped, but he still does not have the answers he wants.

Ash continued taking his stroll when he found his legs to have walked him to a cave. A cave he is seeing for the first time, with a strange fascination he looks deeper inside and saw one of the Aloha guardians.

It was Tapu Koko. He trills.

"Tapu Koko? I haven't seen you in a long time! May I have a hug?" Ash spread his arms apart and Tapu Koko trills with a happy tune and flies toward him to rub his face into his neck showing his affection. Ash chuckled softly and hugged him back.

"I missed you too Tapu Koko, how have you been?" The Guardian Pokemon trills and flies back.

'Terrible. The Alola region have fallen into despair ever since you've left the land, your friends miss you. They haven't been on a single adventure with you gone.'  Ash sighed sadly, Salgoleo trudged behind him and leaned his head under his hand and nuzzled into him. He growled softly.

"My apologies about that, but I'm afraid I can't help. Humans have broke my trust, if they can't accept me the way I am even after all these years then I won't be interfering in their matters' Ash shook his head and Tapu Koko trills and knots his eyebrows sadly.

"The Pokemon are important to me. They need me." Ash lovingly looked at Nebby. The golden lion Pokémon looked at him also with his blue eyes sparkling. He smiled and rubbed him under his chin, making him purr contently.

'I agree that you are special, but you should give your friends and your lover some type of message that you're alright. They're slowly losing hope of ever finding you. That blonde one is turning crazy too, blaming everything on her older brother.' Tapu Koko trills angrily and Ash's head turned to him viciously.

"Pardon... but did you say lover?" He asked confused.

'Ash, you were in a relationship with one of your rivals just before you were taken here. His name is Gladion. He dearly cares about you.' Salgoleo telepathically said to him and Tapu Koko nods. Ash looks at the Pokemon with a mixture of confusion and guilt as he does not remember him.

"M-my apologises... but I don't recall any memories of my lover or my former friends. I only remember... THEM." Ash said and his mind races back to when he had returned to Kanto.

He was greeted with his previous friends and travellers attacking him and spitting on him, cursing his dream of becoming a Pokemon master. They crushed him and his trust to humans, the only ones who care about him are his Pokemon.

A tear suddenly slid down his cheek without him noticing and the Pokemon looked at him sadly. Lugia from up in the sky noticed this and suddenly felt something was wrong with her trainer.

She flew down to him and seeing him crying made her heart break, she nuzzled his head and he looked up at her confused.

'Sweetheart you're crying. Is something wrong?' She worriedly asked and he wiped his cheeks of any tears that he shed and sniffed a little. Nebby licked his face and he chuckled.
