"Hey Lana, I see you've met Ash." Kukui said happily and Lana gulped and nodded, her missing friend was right in front of her. Kukui didn't seem to react in any way to that.

"So you're of my friends. It's nice to meet you." Ash bowed in respect and Lana blushed at how handsome he has gotten over the years.

"Y-you too..." Lana looked at Kukui who gave her a nervous smile and mouthed that he'll tell her later. She nodded.

"I see that your partner is Primarina. She is beautiful and from what I can see remarkable in battling." Ash observed and said, Lycanroc cautiously walked over to the water Pokemon and sniffed it.

'Hello Lycanroc! It's nice to see and your trainer back, Lana has been worried sick about you.' Primarina said and Lycanroc barked and ran around her in circles. She played together like old times.

"T-thank you." Ash tilted his head in confusion.

"Is something wrong? You're stuttering." Ash pointed out worriedly and she just nodded, her cheeks reddening.

"I-I'm fine! J-just surprised to see you."

"So I take it you're a water type trainer?" He asked looking at Vaporeon which was an Eevee earlier on. She nodded.

"I love water type pokemon and spend all my time learning about them in the marine ocean."

"Ah, so do I, I've caught many marine Pokemon. I've heard marine type trainers love Kyogre." Lanas eyes immediately shined at the mention of the legendary Pokemon.

"Yes, most of us do love Kyogre. It's our dream Pokemon and I got to meet it once!" She squealed and Rockruff covered his ears with his paws at her loud voice and so jumped into Nilas arms.

"Well, I've caught Kyogre. Would you like to see her?" Lana gasped.

"Are you serious?" Ash nodded and she squealed, hugging him tightly. Nila frowned at their contact.

"Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!" She jumped in his arms like a child on sugar high. He chuckled.

"No worries." He then looked at the frowning Nila who was getting his hand licked over by the puppy.

"You can join us." He said and Nila beamed when being able to stay close to Ash. He nodded happily. Zeraora having enough of his trainer hugging that untrustworthy girl he got in between them with a grunt and pulled them apart. She frowned and looked down at the Pokemon.

"I-is something wrong?" Zeraora glared at her intently and Ash rolled his eyes at his overprotective behaviour and pulled him to him. Zeraora hugs his waist and turns back to Lana to glare at her.

"I'm sorry about him, he's very overprotective and doesn't trust humans easily." He sighed in defeat and she nods in understanding.

"It's fine. But let's go!" She grabs his hand and drags him over. Kukui sighed and Zeraora growled, his fist crackling in electricity. Nila chuckled and looks at his partner.

"You want to see Kyogre?" Rockruff barked at him and licks his face. Nila giggles and follows behind them and Kukui follows them too to make sure the angry electric Pokemon won't lash out and burn him to a crisp.

'I'm going to murder that human girl for touching my master!' And he kept on growling out threats at her but since nobody knew what he was saying they didn't know how large his bloodlust was toward the girl. She was considered an enemy that he couldn't let near Ash.

Ash arrived at the public beach with Lana still holding his hand. Well, it was a public beach but they hid themselves behind a a pile of rocks where nobody could see them. She was blushing at their skin ship though Ash did not mind as he just looked around making sure nobody was around part from them, Kukui and Nika with his Rockruff.
